I’ve watched a bunch of your episodes now and I’d love to speak with you guys about being disabled and defending yourself and some of the pitfalls because there are many. For example, in Virginia if you use your canes to defend yourself, you will be automatically charged with a felony, even if your life is even possibly on the line. It is so rare anyone ever talks about people that are disabled defending themselves would be nice to hear or talk to y’all about a situation which I mean can give you many where choices are limited but you could still get the upper hand…

Being a disabled person, I’ve been attacked more times than I care to admit. While I say that I have to say this I am insanely hardheaded and I’ve never backed down I’m a firearms Expert, a competition knife thrower, and I was taught Krav Maga as a kid of which I’ve tried to keep up with, even though I am disabled. I always know when something’s about to go down because I always keep situational awareness because being disabled I’m far far more likely to be put in a can’t walk away situation like being circled, jumped, attacked, etc. etc. etc. that said long ago I learned how to control my adrenaline and my head so that I came out the victor. The one big thing I don’t think you guys touched is that in a real fight there are no rules no script or points. There is only survival that’s it. You’ll probably get beaten the hell out of but walking away is actually the victory. We live in a time of cowards. People that carry firearms that have no idea how to use them, or carry knives and don’t have to fight with them…. These are the unfortunate times we live in.

I'm a retired cop, I would not count on a noise scaring the shithead away. I've seen firearm discharges fail to frighten off baddies.

Ok so there’s an alarm so what .. the people near you can start recording and have something to upload on KZbin and monetize . The truth is that won’t deter someone wanting you or your car / kids / purse . It’s you or your attacker . Pick a victim .

Came dull, easy to sharpen, easy to use. A bit smaller but sometimes for a neck knife you want it smaller. I like the chaining comes with.

In my view the edges of the Nitecore are to round. I like the really slim and stealthy form but I feel better if I know I can inflict pain amd damage without been to bulky with the pen.

She has absolutely no business whatsoever teaching folks Self defense. The way she screamed and folded when startled buy the dummy shows just how competent she is as a self defense instructor. She gonna get someone hurt really really bad.

I just got one at an Amazon return store for $15. I assume the return was due to defective safety, knife opens quick. My 13yo will like it for his birthday. Ive been testing it out and I like it. I felt the safety switch was a gimmick. My first experience with a karambit style knife and i will need one similar to match my sons.

I've been carrying my Stream light ProTac for 6 years now! Still using the 18650 rechargeable battery she came with! I've tried many of Stream light's competitors, which just made me appreciate my 2L even more. Just like a good EDC knife, the pocket clip is one of the most important features. Deep carry clip with hat clip is awesome! If she had no scratches, the ProTac could pass as new... Thanks for making this video! This video does 2 things very well..... One, it saves anybody looking for an EDC flashlight time and money (Most of the competition is more expensive, with less features) Secondly it's a reminder to people already packing a Streamlight everyday how AWESOME this design is! The 2L-X is the Glock of Flashlights! Don't leave the house without a blade and a Flashlight ☠️ Be safe. ✌️

Great knife carried one for a few year. It keeps a edge well. Only con is the safety switched flips on when in pocket. And the index finger open part on the blade sticks out to much. The blade tries to open in your pocket. To fix this problem. Grind down index finger down a bit. And take safety out.

All these personal alarm products are such a load of 💩 Even at 120 decibels, it’s NOT going to shock an attacker into simply running away. Truck drivers, like me, use an alarm clock called the “Screaming Meanie”…. It has 3 settings: 60, 80, 120 decibel. I OFTEN use the 120 decibel setting, and BELIEVE ME, in an enclosed vehicle, it’s loud. But, in an open parking lot, it’ll be USELESS! The ads promoting these items, fooling vulnerable people (seniors, disabled, women) into believing that such a device will (hopefully) immediately scare an attacker away is not only RECKLESS but also DANGEROUS!!! Besides, if I were to attack you, and you activate the key chain alarm, I’m simply going to overpower you, take it from you, throw it as far as I can, then anyone looking will be looking in an opposite direction, while you’ve provided me (the attacker) with the perfect distraction for me. Besides, car alarms go off all the time! How many times have you heard a car alarm go off, and actually went to check the vehicle?? NEVER! And, you have to be a special kind of stupid to believe a key chain led light is going to “blind” an attacker 😂 The manufacturers of such useless garbage products like this have a target audience, being naive, easily frightened, vulnerable people who are too intimidated (or anti-2A) by the idea of protecting themselves with a weapon, lethal or non-lethal. FORGET THIS GARBAGE! BUY A KEYCHAIN CANISTER OF BEAR SPRAY AND I’LL GUARANTEE YOU’LL SEND AN ATTACKER RUNNING, SCREAMING AS LOUD AS THIS “PERSONAL PROTECTION” TOY!

There is no BEST style for self defense. Your goal should be to find an effective style, then learn things to fill in the gaps to make yourself a more capable defender.

If that girl kicked me in the groin I would be 30 minutes on the floor. This one is complicated. If the woman is defending it's a chance the groin kick mostly for rush and accuracy issues it won't work. If the woman is attacking it's more reliable than turning on your phone or computer. In fact there are Self defense systems that use woman femenine wiles to transition to a situation where they are the ones attacking.

Bought one for the novelty, and because it was like $22. I’m a larger dude (6’5 280lbs) and I wanted my wife to try it on me to see if it would work on a decent sized attacker. It hurts, but it’s not debilitating. Now, the sound/flash is incredibly intimidating, but I think it’s mostly anticipation. Sure, a multi-second zap may be more effective, but an attacker isn’t just gonna stand there. One zap won’t drop an attacker, but the surprise factor MAY be enough for you to use that moment to get away. Also, it doesn’t feel all that durable. Has a rattle. Feel like if I dropped it,it may stop working. So I’m thinking it wouldn’t survive edc-inc for that long. That being said, the fun factor at parties has more than paid for itself! .
