Thanks. The differences are largely due to the fact that they come from two separate companies. Hayden is more automatic in terms of human-like variation, similar to other Dreamtonics voicebanks, while SAROS as a typical ES voicebank requires more subtle adjustments to achieve a dynamic feel, the final result can be just as impressive. Both have the potential to reach high quality if enough time is invested, but Hayden might be considered the easier, lazier option.

How do you get the falsetto? It is really very well done. BTW what parameter in the bottom were you automating?

Thanks. SAROS has falsetto as a vocal mode, and it can be automated just like a parameter, so pulling it up when needed just works. Also the pitch is changed vertically. Sometimes other parameters should also be modified as the switch occurs, such as increasing breathiness, decreasing voicing, increasing tension, and increasing/decreasing tone shift (it depends), etc.

As for the parameters: Top left is voicing, top right is breathiness. Middle left is tension, middle right is gender. Bottom left is pitch deviation (but I don't use it at all, I prefer note properties and "-" note), bottom right is tone shift. Vocalmode automations are not shown here. But they seldom change.

Thanks for the detailed answer. Synth V shines when you dig into all the parameters and tweak them. And in my opinion adding some pitch variation helps a lot making it sound even more humanm

For me, it is neither too many nor out of the box. Most of the "tweaking"s are shown in the video, allowing you to assess if it's "a lot" by your standards. So glad you like it!
