What an awesome performance and pace, so brave and committed through the braking and corner speed, very impressive, shame the backmarkers in the end don’t move out of the way they make you lose that win that you deserved the most after that amazing comeback.

Thank you all for the comments. This was a hard fought race for me, i was out of the back of my van for the weekend and very low cost. I didn't have the HP of the front runners, or the tires, but I had grit. I'm proud of the result and what it took to pull off where i finished... Road racing in karts is dangerous, and I am happy to have maximized my moves with out endangering others or my self. Nothing quite like the feeling of 100 + mph on a kart. Thanks again

you gained a bunch almost every lap through the corkscrew. committed! 18:39 attack the inside of the exit, gopro corrects its angle.

Was your kart juiced? You seemed to have a massive speed advantage on the uphill section before the corkscrew? Maybe you’re just shifting late? Either way, very impressive race man.

Never seen Laguna Seca from such a low prespective. Very cool, especially at the drop-in. I've driven this so many times in videogames!

Good example of the best driver not winning. Obviously, the faster car(s) won. Good race Michael, if you could had gotten a little more speed out of your kart in the straights you would have easily won.

Nice run! I ran with SKUSA at Mid Ohio a few times. Those big tracks are a huge adrenaline rush

Absolutely blistering pace through the technical sections. If you just had a little more control through the last turn you could’ve had more speed on the front straight dusted everyone no doubt

Your cart seems weak off of the corners. At least compared to the top 4 drivers.

Countless times, countless times you downshift one too many 🤦🏻‍♂️ Fix that and you’ll probably win consistently against that crowd. Literally downshift one less: -1 gear -> 0, -2 gears -> -1 and there is no curve on that track where you ever need to downshift 3 gears with that kart in those conditions.
