Check if your idle air control valve is all dirty and bunged up from flippin it May just need to be cleaned out , throttle positioning sensor aswell …. How dirty it’s the MAF??
@PathmakerProductions4 күн бұрын
MAF definitely had some oil in it hahaha I believe its fuel pressure related tho, my 255L/ph walbro is pushing 51psi into the rails and my FPR can't handle that. So I have a new smaller fuel pump coming that should bring it back into the 34psi spec and I'm hoping that makes a difference, if not I can at least check fuel pressure off my list of possible issues.

Maybe a bad IAC valve under the manifold I had a bunch of idle problems from that stupid thing
@PathmakerProductions4 күн бұрын
My IACV is new(ish) and it doesn't throw a code. I've concluded its a fuel pressure issue, I have way too much pump and am pushing 51psi into the rails where it only calls for 34psi so hopefully the new pump I have arriving this week will fix some of the issues.

@PathmakerProductions4 күн бұрын
No but I have waaaay too much pump, so I have a new fuel pump that should bring it back down to 34psi instead of the 51psi its currently trying to deal with and hopefully that helps.
@ST_RC3 күн бұрын
@@PathmakerProductions Do you have a fuel pressure regulator?
@PathmakerProductions3 күн бұрын
Yes, and I just replaced it for $70 to still read 51psi so thats what made me conclude I have too much pump. I also checked return line for blockages but its nice and clear. Pump arrives this week so we'll see if that fixes some of my issues.
@ST_RCКүн бұрын
@@PathmakerProductions Damn, I wonder if your tank is getting pressurized? i had a 91 240sx that had a bad tank vent and it would build pressure. But i would have issues while cursing in traffic, at idle it would surge.

Make sure all your ground wires in your engine bay are good my Toyota had a broken block to body ground and it was running weird wouldn’t pass smog until I found out the ground was broken that fixed it and it passed smog no problem that was an 84 pickup
@PathmakerProductions4 күн бұрын
Grounds are all good, I've since concluded I'm pushing way too much fuel (aftermarket everything) so I have a new smaller fuel pump coming that hopefully brings it back into spec which will help the ECU not be so confused!
@erichawkins62313 күн бұрын
@ that pretty weird on Toyotas if you have too much fuel coming in the fuel regular will just send the extra fuel back to the tank do the Nissans do it differently
@JW-cn6op6 күн бұрын
I would guess MAF sensor or you have a hole in the intake hose causimg the idle issue.
@bryanmayes92346 күн бұрын
First thing I thought of was a dirty MAF
@PathmakerProductions4 күн бұрын
Its not throwing any MAF codes, after doing a bunch of wrenching since this video I've concluded my 255L/ph Walbro pump is pushing 51psi into my fuel rails and it should be only 34psi. New regulator couldn't step it down enough so I have a new 155Lph fuel pump coming that will hopefully bring the fuel pressure back into spec and then I'll go from there.

@PathmakerProductions9 күн бұрын
If your tires are rubbing on your front shocks (no struts on a wd21) then you have too deep of back spacing on your rims. The rims in this video are 3.75" backspacing. No rubbing.
