U87 se destaca por su detalle y cuerpo en los 2000hz, aunque son mas punzantes y estridentes, los NT1000 tienen un sonido mas suave y cálido, agradaba y elegante, aunque no con tanto detalle como los U87, buen video!

as with most cheap mics they are pretty good. But catching the depth and impact of transients is their problem. The GAP is decent. And for low budget recordings its absolutely fine. But you will need som more in the box trickery to get it punchy.

NT1000 has wider perspective of sound. U87 is more focused in the center, but both have very similar tone. NT1000 is far far cheaper. What an amazing mic.

Neumann captures more detail. AKG is brighter and more open. Neumann can be eq'd brighter and more open but AKG can't increase detail.

OK but people do forget that the FC# is 180 US.... not over 3K. Put that into perspective. A more fait comparison would be the GA-251 but its holding its on quite well. Just amazing!

aucune difference audible . le jeu du pianiste bien clinquant. Impossible de differencier dans Liszt et Beethowen. en revanche dans la suite anglaise de bach. Le Neumann est beaucoup plus riche en harmonique . Assez déroutant . pourquoi dans bach moins de pédale et moins d'harmoniques ? Comme quoi pour tester un micro au piano bach reste la reference absolu. Je ne connais pas l'instrument mais le Neumann U87 bonifie vraiment l'enregistrement par rapport au rRode . J'aimerai avoir un tel micro juste pour le fun ... et le clone de Warm audio ?

The NT 1000s are fine, sufficient, but the U87s are far, far superior.

Somethings wrong,, when the C414’s kick in, one side of head phones is partially missing,, someone must have made a panning error when mixing this video.
