Heya Tommy og mange for videoen! I'd love to request a video specifically for grip fighting, especially against people with strong grips

That in the end was something I pick up on, tachiwaza - be generous with the grips and then work your way back a specified grip/system, thanks Tommy :) How to do randori is always on my mind, so many ways and directions :)

This is great stuff. You sound our common teacher Wolfgang Biedron. We need to hear this and most importent practice this in randori. Only then we get better.

I clicked on this expecting to troll whatever shit was being shown and I can't because this is literally the only turnover that works against decent people, touche my man, touche

You are the first to explain the hip switch. So many coaches say to have hips forward the whole time, but when they demo they do the hip switch.

looks almost like an uchi mata entry into o-uchi-gari with a hip switch and hook at the end rather than a clean sweep. as often the case the way “it actually works in reality” is very different to how its taught which in my case has never felt achieveable. i will try this method, it seems more natural.

Pro sets up the throw by getting the opponent to think a different throw is coming, opening them for the easy take down
