I never thought of Somewhere in Time as a romantic comedy. To me it was a metaphysical romantic movie.

I had a crush on Christopher Reeve from a child. He was a man with morals that you don’t see today in Hollywood at all. He wanted movies that you could leave kids at home to watch and go out on a date . Mentioned in an interview. They don’t make movies like this anymore. Literally just came across Somewhere in Time. I first knew of Chris from my dad buying Superman 1-4 in the 90’s renting it on VHS and hands down he was one of my first crushes. Plus he was a romantic and his humor was well seen in Superman .

Both "Somewhere in Time " and "The Titanic" were based upon an Emmanuel Swedenborg type of ending. The Lovers were reunited in Death and the Afterlife was theirs to enjoy each other forever.

I loved this movie:"Some Where In Time" in the 1980s with Jane Seymore and Christopher Reeves. It is so romantic, and I love the vintage costumes and all the scenery! So wished that they more movies like it!
