I think the best move for beginners are low end economy cars (10-14k reliable below market cars) where maintenance costs are low ,use business credit to get them tax returns at the end of the year, and re invest to be able to negotiate in cash cars

Turo has the same dynamics of uber. If you're in a great area for it you'll thrive. People complain theres no money in uber but literally live in a small town in Idaho somewhere. 😂

Some people want to just help pay car note. They don't care about profit. You have 1 car.
@ontheviewsideКүн бұрын
false info. yes the new dynamic pricing is setting vehicles at a low rate. however, you can still set your own price. its literally in the guidelines.
@WLCR_84321 сағат бұрын
I never said you couldn’t change your price. But you’re also put into the algorithm that Turo has they will push the cars more that use the dynamic pricing. If you change or alter your own price, they won’t push your car as much. Also, if somebody can get a car that is newer and cheaper. They will always go with that car more than an older car for more money.

True. The only way to make profit it’s to buy cars with cash around 5-10k so you be able to sell them in next 12-18 months for the same price. And while you doing Turo most of your earnings claims and cleaning/smoking fees.

Problem is as an experienced host we can set prices but turo sets prices based on EVERY turo host. The new jo shmos that just got on the platform drops their prices to bare minimum and turo bases their dynamic pricing on all the vehicles in your areas. It really is unfair because obviously that affects bookings for the more experienced hosts but these new hosts are not capitalizing on profits and want to meet bare minimum to make their monthly payments

Hey bud, I started on HyreCar back in April but I recently switched over to Getaround for their connect system and I have been booked to capacity with my Chrysler 200. I just bought a BMW X3 and I seen in one of your older videos where you mentioned that you have a remote system installed on your VW I think. I am looking for one as well so that I can add my BMW to Turo. Does your system have a remote kill switch too? If so, could you give me the name of the one that you use or point me to the video where you mentioned. Sorry for the long comment but I’ve been watching your videos for months now and you have literally inspired me to take this leap into rideshare rentals. Keep up the videos bruh!! 💪🏽 👌🏽
@WLCR_843Ай бұрын
I appreciate that a lot and thanks. I’m glad I could help you out in someway and to get started with financial freedom. That’s exactly why I made these videos to help and learn from others. And the system I use for my Volkswagen is called Viper smart connect system. is able to locate lock and start and stop the engine, but it does not have a Killswitch that I know of. But you can still locate your car and it’s a system that’s hardwired into the vehicle so I can’t be easily removed. It’s definitely worth it, but it cost $35 a month to keep going. Hopefully that helps answer your question. Thanks again for the support.
