Never carry a net because they are very cumbersome and when fishing solo they very hard to handle. The Brown trout has plenty of fight when I let him go.

The Oak is an Ontario trib. And yes, Ontario tribs are shoulder-to-shoulder, as bad as Erie tribs. Locals know where to go to avoid the crowds.

@@andreg1860 my favorite spot to start is by the volunteer fire department. Across from little Cesar pizza place. If is slow I usually go to Altmar. I stay away from the town pool . Heading there tomorrow.
