Hi thank you so much for making this video... I ordered a 44in polypro 🙄🙆 is this a no go if I'm like a learning hooping again? I already have as weighted 40in 1.5 don't know if it has a psi or anything it's definitely thick but it surely isn't moving slowly 😂 can't keep the dagon thing up
@IndigoFlowArts2 жыл бұрын
Hi Kimberly! 44in is outside of my personal range of sizes I usually go for, but everyone’s journey is different so it could work well for you depending on your body’s measurements! I hope you can start finding your flow with it :)
@kimberlyhernandez65582 жыл бұрын
@@IndigoFlowArts thanks I have a weighted 1.5 40 in and it's been tedious ...I get that so many suggest weighted because it goes slow but this is not going slow enough 😆🤣😂🙆

5/8ths polypro! generally anywhere between 25” and 28”, measure that out first with a cheap hula hoop to get an idea of the size proportion!

Good point about keeping the body moving, need to remember that. I keep trying not to get bonked in the head or clotheslined by the hoop! Maybe if I just keep thinking, "flow.. flow.. flow.. "

Measure the distance from the floor to your lower belly button, or slightly below. If you’re getting a hoop larger than 30” go for HDPE as it will be more durable!

How heavy should a hoop be for beginners? I found one at 300 grams but I feel its too light
@IndigoFlowArts3 жыл бұрын
It depends how you’ll be practicing with the hoop. Weighted hoops are generally considered better for fitness, and they can be a bit riskier if you’re doing certain tricks like coinspins. Those are usually safer and easier with lighter hoops. Consider what you want to learn and how that might be affected by the hoop weight that you choose!
