Thank you Adam for your feedback and using our products. If you are using a commercially available drill bit, we agree, it is best practice to deburr the hole after drilling and remove excess debris. In our video, we showcase our custom PPS SP drill bit which creates a clean cut and eliminates the need to deburr. This drill bit will not damage the seal inside the tapping flange and it automatically removes the cut portion of the pipe so it does not stay inside the system. If there is any remaining debris left by the cut, it will be removed when the network is pressurized during the test phase before the couplings are installed. Bonjour, Le perçage est réalisé en position frontale pour faciliter l’opération. Celle- ci est réalisée après l‘installation du réseau principal. L’installateur se trouve donc en hauteur (sur une échelle, dans une nacelle) souvent très proche du toit. Il est donc très compliqué d’envisager de percer le tube sur le dessus (espace et capacité à appliquer l’effort de pression de la perceuse) . D’autre part, la position latérale du trou est suffisamment décalée par rapport à la partie inférieure du tube pour garantir que les condensats ne vont pas passer par cet orifice et assurer un air propre au dans la descente concernée.

Le disque en aluminium reste dans la scie-cloche. Il est possible de faire plusieurs perçage à la suite avant de devoir la vider.
