Hello sir....I have doubt...what if a vessels is traveling in narrow channel and there se districted viability and if a sailing vessel empet the passage of vessel and even we have the sound signal of 5 short rapid blast she is empeting the passage....then what will be the actions.....on that time.We will consider the rule 9 or rule 19?

Just take it in a practical way, that you both are in restricted vis. But for narrow channel we have some lights to understand that, that is a narrow channel, but either way if a sailing vessel emped the passage of our vessel, so in that scenario rule 19 comes into force, Just think like officer, you will be able to understand colreg, it's very easy. You are OOW so any how you have to avoid collision, with any type of vessel.
