should be a law in every state, nothing is that important that you need to be talking on phone and driving. Pull over if you need to really make a call. How did we survive without cell phones, very well, I do not need to be connected every moment of my life, why I have a flip phone with free texts and limited minutes every month. Never use it when driving, except to call for road assistance and I am by a curb when that is done.

So how many people dying are acceptable before ADOT actually does something to help the situation? Crazy they are keeping construction projects going and putting their employees in danger. There’s no way to social distance in the field. Nowhere to wash their hands etc. maintaining the roadways open does serve the greater need, but construction isn’t essential at all. It can wait. This guy in the video is obviously safe at home like all ADOT employees would rather be instead of in danger in the field.

Why didn’t they honor the original architect by building the park that honored him in the neo-classicalist form of Washington Union Station?

Smart grid is mentioned in the GND proposal (pg 7, Sec. (D)) but Trump is very much on board with the 5G rollout, too. Both China and Israel are competing for their 5G tech companies to install it worldwide. We need a national discussion on the health risks of this electrosmog. This is Technocracy, an old idea that originated in the 1930s. “The technotronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values. Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities.” ~. Zbigniew Brzezinski, Between Two Ages, 1970

Adam S Nope, still on the table as of December 2018. The Hopscotch Bridge, which carries H Street NE over the platform tracks, needs to be torn down and rebuilt with dedicated lanes for streetcars (one in each direction). After that, it will be primarily up to Amtrak and Chip Akridge to advance the redevelopment project.

Joe G Judging from the renderings shown in the video, some of the terminal tracks will be relocated (from their current location, which is already underneath the concourse and station headhouse) to allow natural light to filter in through Louvre-like glass panels at ground level (where H Street will be).

The HAWK signals in Bellingham, Washington, flash both red lights simultaneously instead of alternating; this is *FAR* more logical IMO.
@newmanc6619
@newmanc6619 6 жыл бұрын
Even on the flashing red I will not go until they turn off, a very wise idea. Although hawk signala are for pedestrians, and bikes or motor vehicles just as much have the right of way as pedestrians, and I would rather not get into a collision with a bicycle or another vehicle, so I I just wait until the red lights switch off completely. If other drivers behind me don't like that, tough, I don't care. I am one of the safest drivers you will ever meet. I put safety over courtesy, to help with other drivers behind me.

ODD, while I was in Germany in the late 1960s that had an Old Style traffic light pole in the Middle of the block with 4 lights, each light had a Speed Number on it. If you adjusted you vehicle speed to the number that was ON,,you made the next Green Light every time. This was in the SIXTIES,,,why the hell didn't WE adopt that THEN,,instead of pissing all this money away on "Studies" now???????????????

I don't understand why plow trucks and public works trucks in general don't upgrade their lights on the trucks. These trucks here are using old halogen rotating lights which is 1950 or 60's technology. It'd be safer and better to get LED lights. They last longer, they are brighter (more visible), they use less voltage from the trucks battery and they have no moving parts.
