I just got wind free for my bedrooms. They seem very large hanging on a bedroom wall. I've seen split duct in Europe and they don't seem as large. How in the world do I get the ugly label off of the side? very quiet and effective

Remove the gas pipe assembley so you can remove the fan, makes the job much easier.

I am sorry to say this, but why would you advertise such a poorly installed furnace. If you fabricated an onsite plenum transition with a roll of foil tape. I am a firm believer, if you have to use foil tape, you don't know how to work with sheet metal and just covering up sloppy work. That home had an old gravity hot water system. Large steel piping and large cast iron radiators. The homeowner didn’t want to have to replace all the cast iron radiators and piping for copper fin tube baseboard. It was given as an option but he chose this option for budget reasons and it was a rental property and it was in the middle of winter that the old one let go so time was another factor.

Yep, just had a 180e installed in 30X40' single story home. Looks like the inside of a Russian submarine ! Gives out hot water ! I have a two zone system. Former was an oil system in a crawl space (4 ' high) and the furnace area was dug down another 2 feet. And that's where all the water from rain storms collected. Can't count the number of times the sump pump failed due to this or that kicking out the furnace. Had gas lines installed in our town. Made the switch due to the 55 year old oil tank in the crawl space too. This is in the upstairs, so no more rain problems. Our company installed plastic pipes, they seem to replace every pipe to the baseboard heaters. Heating pipes are 55 years old too. My condensation pump is over the ceiling into my laundry sink. Yours is just went out the wall.

The parts were under warranty so the client didn’t have to pay for anything. I’m not sure what they would cost.

@@rklose1975 yup thats true., i called navien and follow instructions., they will let you know who’s / what company near your area. Then the licensed plumber or company will call navien again to give instruction where to get the parts unless compny or plumber had some parts. It only takes like 1hr to 2hrs to fix. But labour is mannn. But the parts is free, i think the warranty of exchanger is 10-15yrs

This was an exact replacement for the old one that lasted about 10 years. kzbin.infoUgkx7yWIKcrbA9KMHkGSfcgxW2lsjHT6B8Sh The top of my mitigation tube by my roofline was just a 90 elbow which allowed too much debris to fall down into the fan, eventually ruining it. Without this issue, I bet it would have kept running another 10 years. When I replaced this fan, I added an extra elbow joint so the top tube now it does a 180, which should solve that problem. The radon guys around here wanted to charge me a $300 diagnostic fee, then parts/labor (probably close to $600 total). I installed this all by myself in about an hour for the cost of the fan; it would probably be even easier/faster with two people. FYI the manufacturer's warranty greatly differs depending on whether you install it yourself (1 yr warranty) or have a licensed installer do it (10 yrs).

I have a samsung outdoor unit, Error E202 U C8....It is about 6 years old so all conncections are fine and it always worked fine. Do you have any suggestions as I am having a lot of trouble getting information from samsung?

I’d say find a local hvac contractor come out to do a diagnostic check on it. It’s impossible to guess what it is. Where are you located?
