I've been on the sister ship, the Borealis. It's essentially the same layout, with a different take on the decor. Both are very pleasant places to be in. The recliners in the Observation Lounge are the best seats on the ship!

Went on this beautiful ship last month to Norway (my first cruise). She's a lovely ship, homely and spacious. Staff, entertainment and everything was perfect for our holiday and my husband's 70th birthday. She truly is the Beautiful Bolette

Fabulous looking ship, and that cabin has excellent light tones in its décor. Prima is definitely on our list for future voyages

can you feel the split in the middle of the bed from the two single beds or are they zipped together to form one big mattress?

Been on these cruises before, but good to see the day before we do the same cruise tomorrow. Which restaurant did you use? Would you recommend it? How did you arrange dining? I want to go at 6.30. How did you arrange your dining time?

Dining time depends on your ticket purchase. Saver fare, your dining time is allocated on arrival. Select you should have been able to choose a time. We were allocated Oriental Resturant. Food was good but had to order a couple of mains as sometimes they were not that big and a lack of vegetables, although you can ask for more. Epicurian was really nice. Small courses, I think seven. Buffet is in my opinion poor and very crowded at times. Some of the best food from the buffet was late night food after 11pm.

Fred Olsen are lousy. I cruised one with them on Braemar. Worst vacation in my life….never again.

That's very unreasonable not to say what your complaints are, however it's a moot point as Braemer has been sold. I've been on Bolette twice and it was brilliant, nice medium sized ship with traditional wide timber decks, fab food without fail. Spacious cabins and wonderful crew. Try Fred's Bolette, Borealis and Balmoral videos and reviews, there's better ones than this of Bolette.

Its a great ship. Book early for shows. Must do's: Prima Speedway, not fast but great fun, Tepanyaki Speciality, Chill in the Local great hotdogs, so much more.
