The very big problem is that Big Pharma caused cholesterol drugs to become the "standard of care". So doctors Must advise them and write it down when you refuse to take them. Some doctora intimidate their patients by telling them that: "I'm writing in your chart that you refused." Yeah Doc, you got that right. Just say No. BTW: My s-i-l had screaming leg pains and tried to tell me it was her new boots. I begged her to stop taking Lipitor. She finally did. Leg pains gone, boots just fine.

Cholesterol meds are the beggest scam ever perpetrated by Big Pharma. And stents are the biggest scam by cardiologists. Some may be needed by not nearly the numbers they put in. Especially when heart disease can be reversed!

IMO ... the two "hosts" of this podcast were a joke. It was rushed. rather disjointed, & the hosts came across as fairly biased against Dr Hendrick, & NOT at all interested in letting Dr Hendrick explain, not interested in truly listening nor thinking about what De Hendrick TRIED to explain. They were like our typical ghastly MSM here in America in 2024.

This podcast from Dr Hendrick is FROM 8 YEARS AGO. I'm a retired nurse & every piece of research I've consistently found from years of listening to truth-seekers who ARE NOT in bed with MSM, big pharma, & the FDA says exactly what Dr Hendrick says.

In 2005 i needed shed serious weight to pass medical for police. I went on Atkins and in 5 weeks i lost 42 lbs,, medically recorded. Medical doctor was like deer in headlights looking at same scales i initially weighed in on.😮. That plus daily 40 min walk around sports field. Went on to lose another 28 lbs in following 3wks after passing medical. Fast forward to 2015 after gaining massive weight i did it again and over 5 mths at age 40 lost 70 lbs. It works.

:15, they start right with a lie. "We have very good evidence that high amounts of saturated fat causes an increase in cholesterol levels. We also know that having high cholesterol is a risk factor for having heart disease." That is the old teaching.

Exercise [Walking] for Stress absolutely. One solution often overlooked for Stress is Writing 10 to 20 minutes a day. Getting "thoughts" out of one's head onto paper. IT is called Expressive Writing from Dr David Hanscoms protocols for back pain. From Dr Hanscoms book BACK IN CONTROL page 203: "It's not a psychological issue; it's that the anger and pain circuits are intertwined. Pain elicits anger and frustration. When other circumstances upset you, those circuits then fire up your pain pathways. One of the first things my patients notice after they understand this link is that stress really does increase their level of pain and, of course, pain increase their stress."

I've dumped mine after several months. I didn't have any muscle pain, but they gave me awful low mood. The brain needs cholesterol for serotonin pathways. Feel my upbeat self again after ditching them. I'm modifying my diet. I was borderline for higher cholesterol, so they're just not worth it.

I’ve stopped taking them. I’ve changed the food I eat instead, cutting out the crap. It’s been a week so far I’m hoping things change for the better. Mainly I’m hoping my brain fog goes and my achy joints.

Ive been on astervastatin for about 5 yrs. I recently told my Dr. I am done taking it & he lowered my dosage to 1/4 the original dosage (now 10 mg daily of astorvastatin calcium. Ive noticed a great reduction of these side effects: brain fog, fatigue, muscle pain & the worst one joint inflamation. I still experience the alarming side effect of fighting to stay awake during my 1 hr drive hm after wk. Im literally slapping my face to stay awake. My most recent blood work showed the following: cholesterol - 176, HDL 78, triglyceride 58. These #s fall well within the normal range. I very much want to get off of statin med altogether. Having a mtg w Dr. In 2 weeks but already know what he will say - continue for life.

She looks miles better in just one month. I've just started a modified version of this diet, for metabolic health, rather than weight loss. The reduction in 'motions' is glossed a bit; trust me, you will need lots of Brussels, broccoli, and cauliflower! Personally though, I have to have a serving of something starchy to sleep.

it is almost impossible to get an appointment with a Doctor now in the U.K.. If you manage, they have a few minutes to give you before you are hastily ushered out. They know you want some result, and this almost always means handing you a prescription in the vague hope it will improve your symptoms. The root of the problem is not explored due to costs, lack of time, and general apathy. That’s how the system doesn’t work. End result, survival of the fittest.

My mum had a heart attack 6 months ago. Doctors said she had very, very high cholestrol levels, which was unusual. They think it might be hereditary. If cholesterol is not the culprit. What other reasons could there be for her heart attack?

It's so American to say I'm eating bacon and eggs and ice cream and butter, and I'm losing weight on it! Atkins was almost obese and had congestive heart failure at his death at 72. It's BS. Eat like the Japanese, mostly vegetarian, with beans, rice, and maybe small amounts of meat, and guess what? Many live routinely to 100, with all their faculties working. Oh and by the way, there's probably a good reason his wife refused to allow an autopsy. They would have seen and reported what his precious diet actually did to him.

‘Might of got in wrong’ 🤦🏻 modern day health care is an absolute mess or should I say health and dietary advice is shamefully terrible and the stats prove it and what’s walking around on the streets is proof that western governments don’t care about their citizens , feed them junk and then feed them drugs to alleviate the pain - it’s all about making money 😢

Amen. Your liver produce most of the cholesterol you need to function. So these drs are brave and blessed to openly speak the truth what we have known for a long while. I’m told my cholesterol was so high decades ago ago 7:1 and 6:4 the dr told me on spot if I don’t lower it I’ll die from heart failure. Well I’m here 40 yrs later. Because I’ll be 69 yrs in aug. so these drs are speaking the truth.
