Before typing my message I need to say that I never critique anyone who makes these videos, they are a good thing for new owners of the subject bike. That being said, for all who are watching the video trying to get info about the Reflex, I am the proud owner of a 2001 NSS250 Reflex with 63000 miles on the clock which I put on myself and did all my own maintenance. I have a couple of recommendations on the oil change for this machine I had to learn the "HARD" way. Do not and NEVER use 12 point sockets or wrenches on the drain plug for this bike, only use 6 point sockets or wrenches for loosening and tightening and NEVER use a cresent wrench to loosen a tight oil drain cap because they can and will over time round off the corners of the bolt head. The six point socket or wrench grip the flats and the 12 point only grip the bolt corners and will round off the corners of the cap bolt head. The next point I need to make is the fact that these bikes don't have oil bath clutches like a motorcycle has, so there is no need to use motorcycle spec oil, the only thing that is important is the oil viscosity. And since this scooter is water cooled, even when riding in high heat (95 or 100 degrees plus) there is no need to use any viscosity higher than service manual recommended 10W30, even at all day interstate 75 mph highway speeds the bike will not consume any oil... mine doesn't and it never has(3000 mile oil changes). Later folks, have fun with this scooter, these Reflexs are one rock solid machine that can really be driven across the USA with no problems at all!!😁
