It depends on how far I cast and the wind! Normally about five or six if I cast 400 to 500m

Gday Steve just found your video when searching drone fishing. Can i ask what drone you use and was it ready out of box or did you have to modify/add parts. i currently have a dji mini but want to take it fishing. cheers for the awesome video

Hi Matt thanks for your comment My drone is a swellpro FD1 Fisherman and it is out of the box the only modified part on it is a GoPro bracket that I made myself. Your dji drone should work fine all you need to do is make or buy a air drop release! I'd be interested to know how you get on
