I always worry that there is another hurdle to take into consideration and that is a huge portion of the steam library was made for keyboard control. not a standard controller.. This is why I would choose Nintendo Switch every game is made with controller support by design.

Not true, although it has peak performance over time due to not having an external cooling fan or built in fan it'll overheat and slow down, can also shut off if it gets too hot.
