I have just finished browsing twenty or so versions on youtube. You are right….this is the best…easily the best. And it sounds more Irish than all the others. So many of the others sound bored with the tune but the curse this girl casts is going to haunt that murderous devil to eternity.

How lovely to hear this great slow air ( "Slán le Maigh", I think it is ) so well performed as the original Irish song. I had only ever heard it as a beautiful tune, performed by The Chieftains. Thank you for this luxury!
