I ueded my external drive to install win media usb tool ..while doing that system it self unallocated my external drive can i recover my 900 GB data from this unallocated partion

worthless guide when there's NO "Storage Device Policies" on that parth. and I'm not the only one. I only have "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Storage" and "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageManagement" On Win 11. So what to do now?

What did you do? My question is when do you Initialize a new drive? and when do you format it? A tad confusion without the tech talking.

When using a brand new disk, you can initialize it to start using it. However, if you need to delete&recreate the existing partitions on the disk, you can choose the format function.

Absolutely brilliant, thanks for showing such an amazing method. It works 100%. The mistake I have made at the Section "set letter" I just created new partition there" since mine was not showing the option of setting latter then I lost all the data and the drive was brand new but without data. now I'm trying to recover the data through its recovery section. hope I can get ma data back. "It was my own mistake" Thanks again for your amazing tutorial. I will leave an update in either case of being able to recover or not just to help others to avoid doing the same mistake.

Gracias. a Dios por este video Corrige el Clena por diskpart toma su tiempo pero lo hace si se sigue con esta metodologia cuando quieres poner las letras de las particiones perdidas, te dice Registre el producto en el rar hay un documento con la llave la pones y listo. ojo el equipo en el que trabaje estaba desconectado de internet SALUDOS y espero sirva a alguien mi comentario Dios los bendiga

I loaded win7 onto a drive and it runs fine but some glitch happened and now the 1TB drive shows as C and D, half each roughly of the total capacity. I tried to merge them with this software but no matter which one I choose first, when I choose the second one, it tells me that it is a system disk and my computer will not boot if I merge them.

Hi, Windows OS will assign drive letter C to the currently running OS partition. Merging OS partitions may cause the computer unbooting. Hence, we suggest backing up these drives in advance and then retrying to merge them.

Hi, Did you mean to recover the lost data from the lost partition? If yes, you may need to use the Data Recovery function to scan the new drive since the previous partition table may be overwritten after creating the new partition.
