Prophet muhammad said: the end of world will not come until the happiest people are the insignificant son of insignificant. The proof is in the video 💔 Where the important videos like your video doesn't exceed 67 views but the insignificant videos may exceed the millions of views. Good explanation and appreciate your efforts.

Sir, you are the best maths teacher I know! You always show us very interesting examples which are useful and helpful. You know the stuff well(no doubt about it)!!! Thank you very much!!!
@stephenmason45453 жыл бұрын
Thank you Pavel. I am really delighted by your latest complement. I am also pleased to learn that my videos cover material that others don't. This is partly because I myself can only find the same old limited and ubiquitous examples on line, and I feel that there needs to be examples of questions that no one has yet attempted in their video sessions. It's not true that you can find anything you want on-line, especially when it is of a more challenging, difficult, or rare nature. Sometimes, you have to search extremely hard to locate new and uncovered stuff, so it is nice to eventually find something different that really helps one's understanding in a way that the more regular stuff doesn't necessarily.

Thank you very much, SIR! Now I can see it with my own eyes that it is very difficult to write with an electronic pen. It seems to me that you have been doing your best to make sure that your work is as readable and neat as possible!

Towards the end of my above video, I made a mistake in Equation 4, and in the one immediately preceding it. The Numerator in this solution should NOT be 7,900,000,000 BUT should read 7,500,000,000. The graph at the very end of the video was plotted using this latter, more correct, value.

What model did you use in this video?
@stephenmason45454 жыл бұрын
@@ivankalashnyk223 Dear Ivan, I used the logistic model, and I did state this in my video. Please note that when the curve plateaus, this is the point beyond which everyone has theoretically had the disease and recovered. However, according to this theory, everyone has certainly had the disease by then whatever the case. That is what the whole curve signifies, which is the number of infected people at any time, t. The small number of world-wide deaths expected from this virus have been ignored, as they do not contribute in any significantly impactful way, and it is assumed that most people who contract the disease survive.

Stephen Mason can I use this model and cite your work for the MATH project I am doing?
@stephenmason45454 жыл бұрын
@@ivankalashnyk223 Dear Ivan, yes you may use both the model and cite my work. The model is well known anyway, but I don't know if anyone else has adopted it to explain this COVID-19 disease so, yes, go ahead and use it. And good luck! It would also be nice to know how well you do in your project, so do let me know the outcome, if possible.

NOTE: In my above video, just over one-minute into it, I should have said that the given second order Cauchy-Euler ODE has two LINEARLY INDEPENDENT solutions and that an nth order ODE has n LINEARLY INDEPENDENT solutions. Also, around 5 minutes (or at 29 minutes into the video) before the end, I mis-labelled the constant c3 as c2, but hopefully you will have noticed this error and won't be affected by it.
