Watching another one of your videos, from Chicago. I commented before. I really like that double tap option. But somebody told me they really show the dirt and a dog hair. And since my wife runs the animal shelter, it might not be a good option. So I might go with MultiCam. Just wondering, what’s your thoughts? And thank you for the videos. I enjoy them a lot. Robert

Thank you for your comment Robert. The double tap color does show a lot of dirt and especially pet hair. Since that is a concern I definitely recommend the Multicam or Tan option. I appreciate you coming back and viewing our videos. I'm glad they have been helpful for you.

Cool pack.. but i heard the pack is usually quite heavy.. for me at where i am, guns and knives are banned so the CCW pocket wouldn't work for me.. i always wanted to try a 5.11 Rush series... but usages not applicable .. so i went for the Direct Action Dragon Egg MK2.

@@DoaneTacticalReviews nah not abt rights.. i do love guns n knives but its cool.. lesser crime here for the moment.. if my country had guns.. chaos man.. the world is just getting well worse lol.. I'm from Singapore btw. small tiny island lol.. i do carry my Fenix flashlight but its always on my body so the CCW pocket i dont see a need for it. for now.. but if i could own a gun, it be a Colt 1911.

I use the older rush 24 for traveling , I was using the Moab 10 sling for CC while hiking but after a few hrs I quickly realized I need a backpack instead . Looking into the Rush 12, how do you like it for concealed carry and how easy is it to access in a pinch ?
@DoaneTacticalReviews
@DoaneTacticalReviews 3 ай бұрын
Personally if you are worried about quick access to a handgun this bag may not be the best choice. The ccw pocket is a little rough for speed draws. It's a great pocket but not in a pinch.

I bought the original R12 a decade ago. My only gripe with it is that it has two vent holes on the bottom of the bag. Does the 2.0 model also have these vents? I didn't see them on your bags.

@@DoaneTacticalReviewshey man, got the pack, it was larger than I anticipated (rush 24) and for my frame. Tried putting some gym sneaker, spare clothes and schools and there was enough to fit some more. So i might actually downgrade to rush 12 Though, one of the reason why I actually both this is because i am planning to covert it into a bob in some time in the future, i am just wondering if the rush 12’s capacity is enough for the bug out bag

You need a first aid kit

Thank you for your insightful comment. I have taken this into consideration. I had a plate carrier at the time of this video that had an IFAK with a "boo boo" kit in it. Since this video I've experienced a house fire and lost everything. Once I get around to building another bag. I will most likely throw a first aid kit in it.

Hello Are the rush backpacks waterproof ?

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately they are not waterproof but they are slightly water resistant. If you want to use this bag, but are worried about waterproofing. I would recommend buying a dry bag to add a waterproofing layer.

wait you seriously have loose CR123 lithium batteries in a pocket with live ammo and metal coins. That seriously has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen, you're gonna overload a battery and melt through that bag. I'm not one to bash folks but you need to take some time get some knowledge and carry solid gear. Legit 80 to 90 percent of your bag is just junk, kudos for trying to be more prepared but holy hell man you have a collection of literally dead weight

it's great that you want to be prepared but not trying bash you have a lot of useless gear the survival kits etc, dead batteries in lights also you dont think flashlights are important?! you have a fire kit but no idea why you would have waxed jute in there also those aren't wooden dowels they are fatwood. Also you can hear in the video your aren't in shape. Stop buying and carry shit just to have it solid gear and knowledge would eliminate 75 percent of what you have. and ditch those lifestraws and get sawyer. Your whole mentality can be summed up by you statement that I can fit 4 lifestraws so that's what I'm gonna put in there instead of I'm gonna put a sawyer and backwash kit and more than eliminate all of them. Also you seem surprised by what's in your kit which means you don't know your gear at all. I agree with a previous comment you're not an 18, 19 or 11 series. Take your time, pack with purpose carrybthe best thing you can buy and only carry what you need

Bro let's hope you don't have to bug out anytime soon. You are not prepared. You sound out of breath just doing this video. There is no way your going to walk anywhere with that bag. No water in your bottles. No ammo in the magazines. No battery or dead battery in the survival kit. No toothbrush. Surely you should know whats in your kit. Why didn't you check it before the video. Come on dude preparation. Sounds like just being critical but all I want is you to be the best version you can be.

I’ve had the Adamas for over 10 years now and I can agree with you 100%. The D2 blade if maintained properly will hold a razor sharp edge and the knife will always preform and never fail. Definitely the best EDC knife in my personal opinion
