The images of wavelets you show are > 0 . But one of the properties of wavelets is that they need to have a mean of 0. Are you using purely positive wavelets? is that even possible?

Yes you can get in mm. For that u need to fix camera resolution, it's distance from the surface then calibrate for pixels=mm with standard length objects.

Hello, If we have a system with unit feedback and step input and we want to control it with fuzzy logic control and we want to make the 0 error, won't all the rules be the same in this case? Shouldn't the output of all the rules go to number 1?

Because it is made for rice on the basis of width/height ratio of the grain. Adjust the parameters according to your need.

Can you briefly explain how you got 7 matrices of 391 X 7 as SWT coefficients? 7 is 1+ 6 rotations ? is is due to down sampling of the image? Please give your calculation for 7 x 391 x 7. @@exploringtechnologies9 You are right. I looked at it and it turns out they are pretty similar effectively. I am new to this wavelet based technique for image processing. Trying to figure out what this wavelet transform technique offers in image processing that is not so effective in other available methods. will go through your lecture to learn more.

To extract features only, inverse transform is not required. If inverse is needed for some other objectives, then use DWT.
