It really works fine. A good solution that Brother sadly does not show in manuals.

Tried cleaning the clear plastic strip with micro lines, didn't help, then adjusting the the do-dod as in this video, didn't help, but cleaning the plastic strip more thotoughly a second time with a cotton swab and ethenol appears to do the trick. Made an extra effort to continue the cleaning back under the cover toward the print head park position.

@@mcfloppysausage yeah.. i ordered a new one and sold my old brother printer. A technician bought it and was able to fix and use it again :)

@@sa-wr6oj Básicamente, con un destornillador giras la pieza y en mi caso, volvió a funcionar. Había intentado de todo antes (incluidas las acciones que propone el servicio técnico) y no funcionaba. Fue girar eso y volver a imprimir.
