I watched these guys (well, the original players) back in the mid 80s at a park in Tulsa, Ok, playing just like this, and no fancy stage, just pure joy smooth jazz. Not bad for 40 year old tunes. Great music. Real music. Though I admit that Russ Freeman sounds better on the classic guitar. May be just like myself, got older, and my hand was just small for the classic/acoustic neck, so I switched to a semi-hollow.

Just great Russ is a smooth guitar player who has toned his craft Rippingtons smooth jazz at its finest

I saw them in 94 or 95 their closing act was deep powder it was great in the master of ceremonies was the DJ FROM CD101.9 At the beacon theater the show was fantastic

Just Unmatched here ! Everyone knew, the stage was set for her.... How many musicians on this stage, still Chaka Khan's "Pipes" drown them out ! Enough said here, total queen!! Come on. Todays Icon's - Beyoncé (I do not know one song) sorry, do not need to hear, her previous band from Texas was cool! Who Else out there? Who would want to come out on stage after this lady, Rhianna? Maybe too Melo for sure... I hate to compare but until this generation learns to appreciate what laid the framework, it just goes down in quality and expectations. That is the word "What do you expect" anymore with A.I. taking over music... sorry for the rant but when I see this, Chaka, of course , later on, still brings it with total Power !!
