We were looking at Dukes initially but I’d been to few Palm Hotels and I just didn’t think there was much to do on the Palm in evening/night also the taxis into and out of Palm got expensive. So we went for Habtoor as we wanted to experience a stay on JBR, we also stayed at the Address Hotel on JBR for another comparison. I deffo preferred the night life and atmosphere on JBR over Palm, otherwise both hotels are great and have similar vibes, hope that helps! Ask me if you have any other questions 😀

Absolutely I know what you mean, it had elements of luxe business hotel but then other elements were resort like the rooftop pool and spa area. Have you been to a nice resort in Dubai you’d recommend?

@ I’ve stayed in Jumeirah beach hotel, address marina (now jw Marriott), and the five Jumeirah beach. Of those three I think Jumeirah was the best but they all were nice. We’re going back in June and I’m trying to decide between here and the Rixos premium jbr but still undecided

@Edibleaccents ah ok I’ve never been to any of those but looked at FIVE jumeriah before - what did you think of that? I’ve been Rixos Palm few years back that was amazing loved it!

⁠@@FoodieFarrahfive was my least favorite one. It was full of snobby fake influencers and bad vibes. Nobody really socialized. Everybody seemed to just be there for content

Hi there, June is a nice time to go! We did full board because we didn’t want to spend so much on outside food as we had spent lots of activities. If we didn’t have activities we would have done breakfast only or half board because along JBR there’s sooo many spots to eat and try. We never brought food from outside so I’m not sure, but I don’t see why you couldn’t and take it to your room. x

Thank you, i don’t recall they were serving directly on the beach, but you could get drinks from the beach bar and just walk over. Drinks were limited on the All Inclusive package when I went, I think soft drinks were included and alcohol you had to pay for. Otherwise the All inclusive was great I loved it! No I didn’t stay in the skypool villa I just booked the Yoga session online directly from Auras website but I did book it about 2 months early as I was scared I wouldn’t get a space, they have small classes so I thought they’d fill up quickly x

I stayed at the Al Habtoor Grand Resort and recently also the Address beach resort I have both reviews on my channel if you’d like to have a look. The hotels were both great on opposite ends of the JBR stretch, Address Beach is more higher end, but I much preferred the beach area at Al Habtoor. Let me know if you need any help x

Food here was good the restaurants were fabulous, the buffet food was average nothing amazing. I’ve never stayed at Hilton Jumeriah, but I know it’s a very popular hotel and I think it’s quite well located, this hotel was I little bit of a walk to the main promenade area etc

August isn’t bad, it’s slightly cheaper in Dubai hotel wise, but it’s really hot and can get busy in certain tourist areas. I’ve been August few times and always enjoyed it. Ahh school holiday windows can be so annoying! Where are you looking to stay?

Yeh I didn’t go up the Burj Khalifia I didn’t see the point, what else would you suggest? I’m been looking for things to do that aren’t filled with tourists for those who don’t like big crowds

@@FoodieFarrah the Jumeirah beach wild wadi water park is really good and another water park that was recently opened in Dubai plus the ice rink in the Dubai mall is good . . The Tours are really good that are on the dessert and belly dancing with dinner I recommend and you get to ride on a camel!

@@fozibear2281 thank you for your suggestions! Yeh Wild Wadi is good I went a few years ago and then went to the other one at Atlantis. I’ve never done the Ice Rink but always wanted to. I would like to do the dessert and dinner again as well!

We booked through Viator, the tour company was called Ocean Air Travels and our guide was Mustafa - he was really good 👌 cost around £158 for 2 Adults in July. They picked and dropped us from our Hotel. Hope that helps! 😊

I went beginning of July and then again in September, both were off peak time but I did find certain areas very busy like Dubai Mall and other Tourist Attractions. I’ve been previously around same time in July and it was quiet. Road traffic was ok but could get worse at traffic time on weekdays. Hope that helps

I’m from the UK so I found the malls the same price or expensive so hardly bought anything from there. The street shops were cheaper and had unique items but you have to bargain hard otherwise you could overpay for things! if you’re looking for the local items like Baklava, Oud, Arabic coffee etc then you’re better off in the street shops like Deira or Bur Dubai

Hot and Humid around 40-45 degrees, I avoided going outside between 12-3pm opted for things to do in mall or at the hotel. The nights were perfect around 35 degrees and in Dubai most things are open till very late so you don’t miss out on anything 😎

We spend around £200 because we had a window seat on a weekend but obviously you do t have to spend that much. The food was really good though some of the best I’ve had so far in Dubai

It is Luxury Yes, but Dubai has its own history and adventures, so you could say it needs to be adventured and experienced 😎

@@FoodieFarrah Those are modern day adventures. They created it to boom the Tourism Industry, they do not have any old secret places which would provide you the thrill, like the thrill you get from doing adventures in India.

Yeh it depends if you like the modern or old adventures, I like both. Guessing you prefer the Old? some people like just modern ones so works for everyone. It’s a little like Vegas - you go there for the modern thrill not the history

@@newyorkcity8549 We didn’t use Uber in Dubai, we used their local taxis and Careem App (which is like Uber) - The Careem app was better to use and easier to get especially in places like Bur Dubai, where we found a little difficult to get local taxis. Also they were slightly cheaper. The public transport system I found too long and too far from certain places so wouldn’t bother with that unless you can walk A LOT!
