as a very young child & my dad was working &learning magic from MANDRAKE in a night club in Baton Rouge , I saw one of the greatest magic acts I have ever seen. He had 3 boys ; I think his wife was Patti..Leon had duel citizenship to both the USA & CANADA. He lived in North Surrey B.C.,Canada He worked with animals , birds, props, & birds. I remember trying to go to the toilet & a male Drake Peking Duck charged me!! Ha Ha.. He would come out on to the Stage in a black long tail suit with a Top Hat to work his magic. I believe that his main magic theme was illusions. Well how else can you change a real live Tiger into a young woman with a rose clinched in her teeth. & JUST wanted to say hi to everyone including his sons..this man was one of the greatest show men of all time Mike Micola

Scarlet macaws are some ugly yet BEAUTIFUL birds. Ugly because I hate birds. Beautiful because they're so colorful and friggin amazing works of nature...Mabe I'll start liking birds...one day.

Well he willingly enters and exits his cage as you saw anyway, the owner looks like he treats him really well, so I think the bird is doing fine.

i think that if you do keep these birds in capitivity that you should keep them in large open areas and not keep them stuck in cages.
