There is a systemic problem -- greed. We have allowed many of our economic sectors, to take advantage of the American people. It's disgusting and frightening for the future of our country. My wife and I will be retiring in the next two years n another country. We are absolutely worried that SSI will no longer be funded. we'll have to rely on his pension, a 403 (b) and a very prolific lnvestment account with my Abby Joseph Cohen my FA. Our national debt is bloating and expanding every month. Our government needs to get spending under control and cut the federal budget.

I know this FA, Abby Joseph Cohen Services but only by her reputation at Goldman Sachs; even though she's now involved in managing portfolios and providing investmnt guidance to clients. I have been trying to get in contact since I watched her interview on WSJ last month

The very first time we tried, we invested $7000 and after a week, we received $9500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.

How's this for a few stats to take note of? The vast majority of US retirees have upped their allocation to stocks to 60% of their liquid assets vs what is considered safe, 30%. Second, Market cap of the S&P 500 vs GDP (the Buffett Indicator) is currently cruising at a near 90 year high, and heading for the 1929 high. Shiller/Cape PER for the same index is heading for 40, approaching the 2000 bubble and well over the 1929 high. Also, leading indicators have been tanking hard for a while now, and employment numbers are turning the way they do just as a recession takes hold. Put another way, yeah, this dude is always doom and gloom, but the numbers are worth considering big time.

Spot on Steven. But surely they'll do whatever they must to postpone a crisis until after the election. Are they buying bonds without telling people? Not sure who else would be in that market. Gregory Mannarino thinks they are.

My bank just announced a freeze on “quick cash” loans due to higher volume than anticipated. These are loans where you can access an extra 1000 or so and pay back over 90 days

What did they do during the Great Depression (Great Reset)(?)...winners and losers. Most of Main Street were losers in the bread line. Just because we live in a "modern era" doesn't mean we are immune from being street dwellers. 😢

We forget the Fed is run by The Good Ole Boys Network [TGOBN]. Some of the Boys decide to let certain banks go under and others to be propped up...same thing on a world scale. Neither Congress/the President, nor the US Supreme Court have any say in the matter except to nod their heads and pen their ink to the paper the way the TGOBN decides it is gonna happen. History of the formation of TGOBN decided by robber barons of the 19th and 20th Century.

Kinda hard to pull out all your money in the bank when your checking account is set up for auto-withdrawal on a regular basis to pay your bills online. Imagine the headache of going back to writing checks! 😮 Stamps and envelops, OMG. Of course if you take your cash out of the bank, you then have to hitch up your horse & buggy and hand your debt payment over in person!

I think there is a fourth reason for the decline in reserves (one that banks don't want to mention)...increase in loan loss reserves. That is increasing and will increase going forward, especially as late payments seem to be slowly increasing and the use of derivatives to manage interest rate risks seems to be getting more expensive.

I dont understand the people in the comments who say " You said we were in trouble yesterday " or " this is another shocking video?"...the economy will not crash on just one sole event : it takes a number of bad deals to bring it down and Steve is pointing out one after the other. Hes giving us a play by play everyday just as the economy is preparing to take a nosedive.

This guy every week highlights the same things over and over telling you to be scared while ignoring any of the good data. You are seeing what he wants you to see and focus on. These are the same people calling for a crash every year since 2008. He’ll be right eventually but you will have missed the bull market because he scared you

Why do banks have a liquidity problem? Because they loaned out all their deposits. Do not loan out all your deposits. You say there is going to be a financial crisis. I hope there is. I am invested in T bonds. Interest rates will go down & bond prices will go up

THats right buddy boy. The Discount window is the last stop. And then they have two options Merge or Dissolve. Why They don't know how to manage anything they just talk talk And should have tossed their Finance Degrees and used it for toilet paper. And so that where they belong. They should have called you Mr. Meter. Of "Van Meter Advisors." IMO.
