I flipped flopped with keeping it sealed. I mean I got burned but the 25-35 range is still a good deal for 11 packs and sweet promos! I say go for it, it’ll only appreciate!

Just FYI. market value on the Alakazam Illustration Rare is actually 19! Missed that in editing. Sorry for the abrupt cut at the end as well - had a transition rigged up for that but for some reason I didn't get it in export. The next one will be better!

When I lived in Seattle there was a store called Wizards of the Coast Game Center. It had gaming supplies, gaming tables, a huge LAN room, Battletech simulators and an attached cafe. Anyone who wants to simply buy or play a game isn't going to need to go to a store. You want to create an experience, not just sell games. This will get people to come to you. Unlike other retail you don't need prime real estate, but you will need a LOT of space. Yes, sell games, video games, etc., but more importantly sell an experience. You can go there and waste an entire day or even a weekend by immersing yourself in an environment. It's like a con, you can assemble with like minded people in a common space and play, eat, drink, and buy what you love.

This is an awesome comment! And you hit the nail on the head - the experience you’re talking about is exactly what I refer to when I talk about the card shop I grew up in. It was never about the games we played, but the feeling we had and the want to be there to see our friends and be in the culture that was instilled in the location. Anyone who knows this industry knows its volume based - you need a way to create volume which means you need to sell value, not cards. I appreciate you sharing your experience!
