I had a 1941 J5a in 1982. I flew it cross country and was amazed at all the old timers that came out of hangars to look at it and reminisce. They were WWII pilots who trained in one. One guy was adamant that I had to let him prop it for old time's sake. They were really great people to meet.

An excellent video for a beautiful airplane. What I liked the most was the final approach with all 4 PAPI lights in white 😂😂😂😂 made recall when I was a student pilot; my instructor was so furious everytime I did it because he knew I was doing it on purpose just for fun.....I was thinking on dive bombing job 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I flew in a Stearman about 12 years ago at Polk City, FL, Waldos Flying Circus. Pretty much flew it from taxi to taxi. Wonderful airplane. We did Chandelle's, Lazy Eights, Steep Turns. What a hoot, and have all of it on video.

Jim, do you think the lions in the Ngorongoro Crater are the biggest around compared to the other lions in Africa?
@JimGriggs
@JimGriggs Жыл бұрын
I think they are bigger and healthier than those in Serengeti.
@calvinm1866
@calvinm1866 Жыл бұрын
@@JimGriggs Is it because of access to more food in the crater or just the genetics?
@JimGriggs
@JimGriggs Жыл бұрын
I think it is because of steady food sources. Out in Serengeti the food sources migrate and and are only available seasonally. In the crater there are always non-migrating wildebeest and zebra.
