Sorry, I didn’t record any of the issues on Capital and they’re off Global Player now. But I did have a listen to them, and they weren’t as exciting as Heart’s issues! It was mostly just songs playing for a long time rather than the presenters doing any talking, then at the 7am news, the news intro started but a song started playing and cut it off, but then the song got cut off again by the news if I remember correctly.

I’m glad it’s not just me that could hear it!

I was trying to work out if it was a remix of the 2019 travel bed or not, because if it was, it’s possible Heart may have made it in house by just making edits to the old one, and RW didn’t make it. I think it probably sounds too different from the old one to be a remix. It does sound similar though, as does the news bed

Yes, I think it’s something to do with it usually being localised shows at the time the show was on, but it was a national one instead. It’s weird but I love it because it means we get to hear the jingles without presenters talking through them!!

@@grahamclark4518 I don’t know if they’ve switched to Zetta yet. They were on Genesys still. I look forward to the main Heart stations switching though because hopefully it means we’ll see lots more issues like this with presenters not knowing how to use Zetta 🤣

@@thejingledude Me too! I’ve been waiting so long! The weather bed was played out blank too (see description of this video). I’ve not been following jingles that long, but it seems so strange these aren’t from the 2024 pack. Do you think that maybe this and the TOHs are from next year’s pack, as that’s the only logical explanation I can think of?

@@thejingledude I feel like they must be from next year’s pack, because if you think about how long themes 6, 7 and 8 from the 2022 pack were used as TOHs (2 years, usually they’re just used for 1 year ish), if they had used them for 1 year, that would have given them another year to use the TOHs from the unused 2024 package (I think there only would have been 1 set of TOHs from that package as there were only a few themes that I think would have been good for TOHs), and then it would make sense time wise that these themes are from next year’s package. I think the only reason the unused pack wasn’t used was because the themes don’t sound very good, so they had to stick with the 2022 themes for longer than usual and wait until it would have been time for another new package

Yes she must do them both from the South Coast studio. I think it's fairly easy to access the stations from any studio as I think all Global stations (apart from the main Capital and Heart) use Zetta as their playout system, which I guess you just download and log in to in each studio then you can access the relevant station e.g. Capital Anthems through Zetta, then they just put it back into auto mode when they're done.

I don't know if they will have presenters. Amanda Holden did say she loves it and wants to go into their studio but as she seems to have such a strict contract with Heart Breakfast (e.g. she gets really long holidays and is allowed to go and do other jobs like when Davina covered her in the summer) that I don't think she'd be willing to work an extra day or do any extra shows. If she did present on it, they could just put her in whichever Heart studio isn't being used at that time and she just accesses Heart Musicals on Zetta which as I understand is quite easy.

Yes I thought the same thing - feels boring in the morning listening to it with no presenter. I don't know who'd present it but I'm sure there'd be existing presenters who would be happy to, Global just don't seem to have tried to find them. I do wonder too though if perhaps they are short on presenters, because Nigel Freshman who does Smooth 80s breakfast also does Smooth West Midlands Breakfast (both on at the same time so one of them isn't live), Miranda Burns on Capital Anthems then does Capital South Coast Drive straight after, and Adam O Neil on Heart 10s breakfast also does Capital Yorkshire drive. Also there is nobody at the weekends which is boring. I'd be happy to host Capital Anthems or Heart 10s 🤣🤣

@@JingleCentral The main Capital station has a breakfast show with Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby and Capital Dance has Charlie Powell. Maybe this Capital Anthems breakfast situation won't get sorted as might not be good presenters (not a fan of Jordan north on the main Capital station but still like Chris and Sian) Heart Love and Heart Musicals have no breakfast show. Capital Anthems, Heart 10s and Smooth 80s have such lazy effort

@@lja8857 Maybe they're thinking that people will generally tune in to the bigger radio stations e.g. Capital, Heart etc. in the morning as at those times, people are more likely to choose the station because of the breakfast show and who presents it, perhaps rather than the music. Then as the day goes on and people just need background music while they work with not as much distractions as a full on breakfast show does, they go to Capital Anthems for non-stop music, so Global feel it would be a waste of money to get presenters for breakfast shows on these new stations?? They also make a big thing out of Capital Breakfast with Jordan North so perhaps want that to be the main breakfast show for the Capital Network rather than having different shows on each station??

@@JingleCentral Laziest effort is Radio X chilled. They've not even bothered to get New presenters. All they do is just simulcast with Radio x and their chilled from 7pm to 1am Sundays and 10pm to 1am Monday to Thursday

Hi, no not as far as I know. It's broadcast from the head offices of Global in Leicester Square, London.

Although, it may well be possible to access the Heart 10s playout system from Heart's local studios in Yorkshire which do exist, because Adam O'Neil who presents Heart 10s Breakfast also presents Capital Yorkshire Drive so it would be a lot for him to travel from Yorkshire to London and back everyday! So yes, it may well be possible to access the system from Yorkshire, or any of Heart's studios across the country for that matter!

@@JingleCentral Maybe he does do it in London or Yorkshire, I Think it'd be good if he did Heart 10s in London studios and Capital Yorkshire in his hotel room or somewhere which might not be possible booking a hotel room EVERY WEEK for a week

@@JingleCentral We've got the same issue for Miranda Burns on Capital Anthems from 12-4pm and she does capital drive south coast from 4-7pm. Is that from the south coast drive capital studio

@@alexanderp9195 Do you mean at Heart it’s listed as 2020? They did use it in 2020 for Easter as well as themes 2 and 3, and I think they used it either in 2020 or 2021 as a Christmas version of the time tunnel TOH so maybe that’s why????

The JK and Kelly bed was used at 12 and a half minutes into their show today if that helps
