I found my rhythm after awhile and didn’t even really use Jack..I would continue to do the pattern..only thing is whenever you have that lava stick in your neck…AS SOON as you get it out, shoot the ice, that way you can either try an go shoot his back then, or what I did I just used the time to get my bearings together and then get back in rhythm

Took me 10 damn times to defeat it.. I didn’t want to play for a while after meeting it. Still took me 5 tries after this video because the jumps would just hit me everytime.. finally!

This boss can eat a bag of dicks! You'll be doing really well and then he jumps in the air and lands right on top of you killing you immediately literally no way to avoid it sometimes

Also there are two cryoguns near the pit.You can use that also to freeze.Even after knowing all this Im still unable to beat this thing.I guess Im a noob.

I dont recommend it, when you turn you back and hear her running you better pray because 3/4 of times you're the tarhrt and because you picked the cryo canon there's no way you're gonna be able to dodge

Yeah they tried to penalize you for not being methodical by making your character slower and clunkier than previous Gears games. I don't think this was well done at all, lack of previous fluid motion only created frustration and not a challenge.

This is the only single player game that I need to plug my keyboard and mouse into xbox just to beat it because my palm and controller are too sweaty after trying and failing for 2 hours. I feel like the game is trying to make it even harder intentionally, when the scene starts your teammate will tell you to use the frozen gun(which is completely uselss), glad that I realized this mistake within the 3rd try.

The AI teammates contribute zero damage or distraction techniques so you have to freeze the enemy and then run around to the back of it to get any damage done by yourself. I suspect it would be easier with a co-op partner.

It is waaaay better w a co op partner. My wife isnt a heavy gamer but we are playing the game now. We died a million times but worked on a strategy and got through it. Watching this video a few days afterwards and felt like we could have beat it even sooner lol. I played as the Kait character and whenever Kait had those panic moments I basically ran behind my wife's character as they took care of shooting the ice. We also threw in some cloaking and Used Jack to flash a few times
