One of the most frustrating things for a singer, is when he or she has to constantly let the sound person know that they need to up the volume on the mic, and that that sound person does not comply.

From the HBO documentary "Listening to Kenny G" by Penny Lane "Recognizing the role that Kenny G has played in the world-one of the crazier bits involves how the artist’s “Going Home” has basically become the theme song of the end of the workday in China. A cool piece of trivia or proof that Kenny G is the tool of crushing regimes?" In China, all kind of establishments or office workers officially close out their working day playing "Going Home" by Kenny G. He said that in one of his concerts there, he was not aware of that, and played the song in the middle of the concert, and the audience started to leave afterwards, thinking the concert thad ended.

guessing this is one of his last concerts.....so tragic what happened to him...his wife said he still wanted to perform even though he could barely walk and was in such pain....once COVID hit (it had just started at the time of this performance)...he (and everyone) stopped performing.....RIP to one of the most talented singers/songwriters/musicians ever.....
