at the 21 minute mark, you gave a PC against Tawa for a dangerous clearance, but there were no Karori players even vaguely in line with the direction of the clearance. The Tawa keeper did protest this to you. We spoke about this later, and clarified the ruling regarding danger only toward an opposing player (rule 9.8), but you said you had rewatched this and were happy with your decision. This view is considerably worse that what you personally had, and another view is available through the link I sent you yesterday, which shows the channel of Tawa players and no Karori player in line

Just had a chance to watch the documentary "Ruamata: It's more than hockey" and it is brilliant, what a story. Hockey needs more of that type of story, not less. The complaints about use of Te Reo were ridiculous - what happens if those players make the Black Sticks one day and come up against the Dutch, the Pakistanis, the Indians, the Chinese, (or even the Australians, lol) - going to have a sook to the ref that they cant understand their opponents' calls? Watch the ball, watch your player, watch the space - that's all you need to do.
