Wonderful, and as the decades pass they seem to become even more so.

Wish you'd take that stupid "8thMan" logo off the screen. Totally ruins the movie.

I used to watch this all the time as a little kid, and it freaked me out! But something reminded me of it the other day and the memories came flooding back, so I had to find it. (I'm GenZ btw...but I still grew up watching many of these old cartoons!)

Beautiful artwork in those days up until the post-World War II era when animation started getting expensive.

In the train cartoon, as the child walks past paintings of trains, the background is three dimensional. How did the animators get this effect? If someone knows, please reply.
@Mike-jd3qe3 күн бұрын
Rhotoscope it looks like. Picture filming through a 4 story building from the roof down. Each floor level is a different set of trains painted on each. The small space between each floor creates the illusion of more real depth.Moving the glass floors also feeds the illusion.

I am SO glad for this channel's existence. In a day and age where these cartoons are taken off with barely a warning from streaming services, and currently collecting DVD's of these are getting harder, this is the best way to preserve these and introduce them to a newer audience.

True and rarely these comment section is open due to COPPA. [Also historically Oswald's true trademark holder(s) are both Disney and Universal but they couldn't settle their differences between both corporations.]
