I drove from Venda in a Kia Rio, i refuelled at Midrand shell, Colesburg Shell, Laingsburg Shell, then entered CT. @ some point, your consumption was 9.something, if not 10l. Thays hectic for a 1 series. Otherwise, i hope you enjoyed

Stop using eco drive .... Use comfort full tank on that car should get you half way

Try using 5W40 you will see some difference, I was using 5w30 and buying 1 litre after every 1000 KMs, In November I started using 5w40 and the level has not dropped since then and I drove about 3k KMs.

2013, i drove from Kriel in Mpumalanga to Capetown nonstop. I left at 10pm and arrived 5pm the following day. I was driving a manual, Mitsubishi ASX, for those who know it. It's not a fast car, but i managed to drive back with no issues. i only got a barrier line overtaking ticket when i was leaving Capetown around 5 am. R2500, and i never paid it. 😂😂.

If you drive long distances a lot, the Diesel version might’ve been better. I have the diesel version of this car and when I drive carefully, a full tank could get me from Pretoria to Oudtshoorn (~1,200km) Also don’t stress about the oil man. Mine doesn’t need to get topped up more than about once or twice a year. On top of regular changes of course

I had the same oil issue with my MK5 GTI, i had to checj the oil level atleast every 5000km. This other time i drove it for more over 13000km without checking, to cut the long story short, i had to get a new engine . That was back in 2016. I sold the car two years later

Lovely video But the B47 Diesel engine remains my choice and as far as consumption is concerned it will probably do Pretoria to colesburg and probably beyond with one tank I met an Uber driver who had a 320d he said he did 1090km on one tank on open road 🙆🏾‍♂️🫠

You spend a lot of petrol in that BMW but if you were driving a Audi s3 Like bongeke spend a lot of petrol e.g 1.7k

BMW = 1 L of oil per 1500KM. Its normal BMW oil consumption. You wont notice it during local distances but when you do a long trip you will see it
