If by any chance we wa t to make it a bit smaller then where do we decrease the stitches?

I’d recommend you use a thin yarn and smaller hook. Decreasing will alter the shape

This is such an easy to follow tutorial , I absolutely love it, but I think I've done something wrong , can any one please correct me , after doing the first 8 rows , my work has turned very curvy , almost like a rainbow, unlike the one shown in the video which is so very straight and flat , please help me , should continue with the same I should I start over ??😢 Also can any one please point out my mistakes as well🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hello, make sure you do a chain one at the end of every row, and don’t miss the very last stitch. I would advise you start over.

Do I also have to increase the width with the length or is it fine ? I also wanted to ask if I wanted to increase the width alone , what measurements ( the number of crochets ) should I use , please , I love this so much , it's just like how I wanted it to be , but I've realised it would be a little smaller than my liking , and your tutorial is the only one I actually understood, it's so beginner friendly , I love it !!!☺️☺️☺️

If you double each stitch, it’s going to distort the shape. I would advise you double the yarn and just follow the pattern
