Would you say the same to people in China? I agree theres a lot of toxicity online, but everyone is free to block these sources from showing up for them.
@gtleshowАй бұрын
@@ItsMisterBOBToYou yes the same would be said for people in China. Blocking assumes the person understands that they are seeing/reading toxic information or severe information. What if they don’t know that?
@ItsMisterBOBToYouАй бұрын
@@gtleshow My apologies, the Chinese comment was rhetorical, they already have this system implemented and the government has control over it. My underlying point was who would be in control of this information, how would it be verified and how would it be protected from hackers/illegitimate use? I mean social security numbers were just leaked and those are about as important as it gets, so I wouldn't trust the government to verify. So, who else? I can also agree that toxicity can be missed, but that presumes at least one of two things; the toxicity was so small to be negligible, or the person themselves is either too young or incapable of differentiating between right and wrong such as children. There would be an incredibly small portion of the population that would fall into this category that are not children, making the whole system not worthwhile. If they ARE children, then should the content they access not be monitored or controlled by their parents or caregivers?

Cold emailing can be a hit or miss, but I have been using FilterBounce for real-time email verification, and it is been a total game-changer. My bounce rates are now consistently under 1%. That extra layer of accuracy makes all the difference, especially for tricky domains. Plus, they throw in 300 free verifications each month, which helps to keep costs down. Worth every penny!

I don’t see responsible use of an advanced technology as a problem, no. The data he speaks of is already available from satellites. The drone data would just update more frequently, making it far more accurate. Of course, governments will regulate who and what can be accessed.

Yeah chess can be a test for logic, but most of the people who play it anymore don't have logic and so they play against AI which means there's a predictability about it that there isn't with a human opponent
@gtleshow11 ай бұрын
As a chess player, I don’t agree with this comment. Even the former world champion, Magnus Carlson, says he learned from AlphaZero, an AI chess engine. Chess engines don’t simply “play the same moves” so as to create a predictable game.
