Thank you, Mama Jasmine for doing this revised video. I originally saved the other video, but when I looked it was gone from my list, but I immediately went in search for you because this is the BEST rum cake around. I have used it on so many occasions and everyone requests that I bring "the rum cake". Sometimes, I think that's the only reason they invite me, lol. Seriously though, it really is the best and so easy to do variations of. I've made it using pineapple and peaches, separately of course, but with the same results...delicious every time. I just want to confirm: one tablespoon extract (like vaniilla)? And I read elsewhere that it's good to let the cake/glaze sit for 24 hours before serving so that the glaze sinks into the cake. What do you think of that idea?

Haven’t had rum cake in years and your recipe, along with hints, looks delicious. My grandchildren are gluten free so I will be using a gf cake mix, I think it will adapt well. We are, also, at a high altitude so will probably add a couple tablespoons of gf flour. If anyone else is above 5,000 feet and has used this recipe, I would love to hear about their adjustments. Thank you for sharing this amazing looking cake recipe! Can’t wait to try it.

I completely forgot to say what the sauce was!!! It's a sweet, salty and spicy sauce. It's available for purchase with the ramen. Huge shoutout to the Soupa Saiyan Team for taking care of these 90s kids. Where should we try next?

FIRST person I've seen to use turkey bacon, I wish you would have done a taste test, lol, but I'm DEF going to give this a try because I LOVE collards but I don't eat pork anymore for health reasons! Pork is in just about everything in this food industry and it's such a shame how they wanna kill us off, so THANK YOU for this. God Bless!!

Exactly why I switched it to Turkey Bacon, a lot of people cut out Pork and higher cholesterol meats so when I did WW 12 years ago I did this and I havent gone back. The turkey bacon gives it great flavor and the "pot liquor" is banging! I recommend to try out this recipe

You can store it up to 3 days in the fridge, after that it needs to be discarded
