thanks mate i did have the connection but for some reason after not using the camera for a few months it wouldn't reconnect. cleared the settings and reconnected and now problem. i was going to take it back to canon. luckily I didn't do that.

Thank you for the tutorial. I am doing the same and things are fine, but when I close the camera and open it in another day I can't see the name of the camera in my mobile wireless list. Should I configure it each time? or I'm missing something?

hmmm you shouldn't have to configure every time. Is the name of the camera not coming up in the WiFi connections area on you mobile device? Make sure that there isn't an exclamation point by the blinking antenna symbol on the screen. if there is, turn off the camera, wait a few seconds and turn it back on.

I have been trying to figure out why I count connect my phone and camera for months. It didn't dawn on me until your video when you explained that I need to clear my settings (since I had purchased a new phone, duh.) Thank you. The music was a nice touch, very inspirational and uplifting in times of worry.

When you click on 'Wifi function' it shouldnt be connected. And disable Wifi/NFC

This is a GREAT tutorial. If you cannot connect then you are missing something. Which is easy to do since connecting to a Canon camera's WIFI is horribly complex.

This is the worse feature on the 5d! I think we got it to work once. I can’t believe they don’t have an update that fixes this pairing issue.

Hello Rhema, It is a nice idea on how you learn to use the glide cam. Did you set your focus to manual or tracking focus.

The problem is Canon Connect doesn’t work. It shows the connection but says Camera not connected. Works about 1 out of 10 times doing the same thing over and over. Very frustrated. I’ve wasted hours on this, doing every trouble shooting suggestion imaginable.
