How about using a motorised pully to pull it up the sled.

I had the muffler on it, you could see straight through the muffler so it wasnt that big of a difference at idle and revving. The biggest difference was the drone at highway speed, my friend had an identical truck but without the muffler and his was def louder.

How that 1500 handle the deck ?
@ColinMcEvoy9 ай бұрын
Handles it pretty well, I picked up a set of bilstein shocks that I need to install. The stock ranchos are terrible. I had 2 sleds on the truck couple weeks ago and it still did great, with the added sumo springs it did better then I thought I would with little sag 🤘🏼

Nice looking rig. Just a heads up but if your planning on hauling 2 sleds with yourself and one other guy you will be over your payload capacity which is 2280lbs. Not a big deal but if you get in an accident you will not have insurance. Just food for thought.

I think you need new shocks bro…. That’s usually when you know shocks are bad. You get the “Boatie Feel”! 😝 I bet when you put new shocks on…it fixes all that. Let us know in a new video if you put new shocks and notice a difference. Can’t wait to see your content this year brother!

For that garage door light - get two small flat steel plates and attach them to the door with 3M VHB adhesive pads. Then screw down L brackets with magnets into the light fixture. With good magnets that fixture will stay put no problem. :-)

I Just installed one. I noticed my flipper doesn't make contact to the grip. There's a pretty decent gap there. If I adjust it so the gap is gone theirs a lot of excess slack when at 0 throttle. Not sure which way I should run it. How is yours setup in regards to throttle cable slack and wot.
@ColinMcEvoy11 ай бұрын
You want a little wiggle room at 0 throttle. 1/8” I believe. You may want to just call and ask a dealer to confirm
@Rickydbaby11 ай бұрын
@@ColinMcEvoy yea. Oem specc is 10-30 thousands gap at 0 throttle. I got mine set to 30 thou but at wot the flipper has about 1/8 gap from the grip/bars. I'm gonna run it like this for now I think.

How is that crazy? I got a 4x4 quad cab 3/4 ton that get 21 mpg own it own but 12 mpg towing 12500 lbs . And that with 3:70 rear gears. 7.3 power stroke an automatic transmission. You put a set of 2:73 an a 6 speed you can easily get over 35 mpg .
