The VERY FIRST STEP should be TESTING FOR ASBESTOS. Asbestos was once used as a fire safe insulator and plaster additive. It is dangerous to be exposed to and repeated exposures can cause terrible diseases such as lung cancer and mesothelioma. Do some online research to figure out how to take a sample and have it analyzed first before demoing anything.

Yes. There are two great videos about the difference between pilot operated check valves and counter balance valves. The videos are by LunchBox Sessions. They are very good.

Sir where can I download this software to check my pneumatic circuit?

I'd also recommend that be wary of lead paint or asbestos on the old plaster. If you find either of those then you should be stepping up the PPE and containment to lead-safe levels i.e. zip walls, 6mil poly on the floor, bagging everything up and cleaning up super thoroughly. It may sound like a lot but if you have young kids it's essential imo.

Similar problem ig? Basically got this plug yeh, and the bit that slides on and plugs into the outlet has snapped off the prong bit, some shitty little bit of plastic was holding it, smallest bit of resistance broke it, I didn’t even notice it until the shi was fully off 😂 so anyway. I’ve taped the two back together and the only thing concerning me, is it’s not electrical tape, it’s celotape the shitty through stuff, it isn’t touching no metal bits of the prongs, but goes in between em, with it not being electrical tape. Is it safe to do this? Or am I going to burn my house down if I plug this in? 😹

Hello Sir. Im a novice so Im not sure what words to use. Could you tell me what flow control valve to use on a portable DC powered hydraulic lift. For example, a 24vdc power unit I took off a Crown WAV can be turned on or off to pump fluid to a cylinder. But I'd like to control the flow with a "joy stick" so that it isnt so violent to lift things with the hydraulic lift Im making. So similar to an electric forklift, as soon as you start using the "flow control valve joy stick" the power unit must start pumping fluid at the same time you are easing into the hydraulic controls. Could you point me in the right direction on where to look for something like this or make a video about it?

To understand more, go to the NEC, look up E3609 and review the requirements for bonding and what it is, versus grounding.

How common is a PLC replacement due to this specific fault do you see in the field?

Totally depends on where you work. Most places if you can move the output to an available output you can.

I’ve been asked about these. My biggest question is how long they last. Easy for us to install but what if the homeowner needs to change dead ones every other year? Anyone know anything on that front?
@KletteTechАй бұрын
I know they say 10,000 hours. But, the whole thing does not cost too much and would not be too hard to replace. I would just make sure you turn them off when not needed. That is why I really like have Alexa control outlet

Today I am working on a project where a micrologix is acting as a modbus TCP server, in the other end there is an Omron PLC. I was planning to send an integer then this guy in the other end just dividied by 10 and get the float value, but it seems he only reads the modbus registers in Hex, is there a way to convert from INT to HEX? I searched in rokwell knowledgebase and I found an example but the other way around HEX to INT
