Wow, an outside wall (window proves it) with no insulation. I’m betting that’s why it’s cold in that room and that’s why you’re doing all that tear out. 🤨😳👍🏻🙄

I was installing my tushy and I had a leak with the cold water hose. I noticed around the 2:28 mark, you mention that pulling the hose down helps and makes it easier. Does it help with the leaking, by any chance?

My Tip: get yourself a piece of 3/4" plywood that is about 32"X18". It should span from the outer raised edges of the cooktop with an inch extra on both sides. Next get yourself a sturdy box, or a few boxes inside the big box, (ie unable to be crushed box that is within an inch from the bottom of the micro wave, roughly 24"X18"X,. Once the microwave is free and clear, remove the box, then carry the microwave on the piece of plywood which is flat and smooth compared to the microwave bottom, it can be set anywhere without issue. The plywood is easier on the hands, protects the stove top and counter tops.

Thank you so much for this video. I will be replacing our over-the-range microwave and I was very nervous about the process. Mine will vent through the roof which I suspect is clogged because currently there is no air circulation when the fan is on. Your tips are most appreciated and I can't wait to tackle the job once the new microwave arrives.

The VERY FIRST STEP should be TESTING FOR ASBESTOS. Asbestos was once used as a fire safe insulator and plaster additive. It is dangerous to be exposed to and repeated exposures can cause terrible diseases such as lung cancer and mesothelioma. Do some online research to figure out how to take a sample and have it analyzed first before demoing anything.

Sir where can I download this software to check my pneumatic circuit?
@antarcticmonkeysАй бұрын
I'd also recommend that be wary of lead paint or asbestos on the old plaster. If you find either of those then you should be stepping up the PPE and containment to lead-safe levels i.e. zip walls, 6mil poly on the floor, bagging everything up and cleaning up super thoroughly. It may sound like a lot but if you have young kids it's essential imo.

Similar problem ig? Basically got this plug yeh, and the bit that slides on and plugs into the outlet has snapped off the prong bit, some shitty little bit of plastic was holding it, smallest bit of resistance broke it, I didn’t even notice it until the shi was fully off 😂 so anyway. I’ve taped the two back together and the only thing concerning me, is it’s not electrical tape, it’s celotape the shitty through stuff, it isn’t touching no metal bits of the prongs, but goes in between em, with it not being electrical tape. Is it safe to do this? Or am I going to burn my house down if I plug this in? 😹
