They are pretty small! They do so a much bigger one, which is what you might be thinking of - that one is the TR8S

Nice! How long have you had the t8? I got an s1 for Christmas but now really want the t8 especially as it has that 303 sound!

Iv made some good dnb beats on the t8 I like to put rolled snare in it with lots of reverb but pretty quite just in the back ground for that classes dnb feel can only do so much with a drum machine as real dnb drums are mostly samples but the 909 kick with the 808 snare actually works well for dnb I'm not a big fan of the 606 hats though but there's ok

Thanks for watching! The TR6S is an awesome drum machine and is much better at drums in most cases than the 101. It can be a Groovebox, but tracks are limited once you start adding none drum content. The 101 is less convincing as a drum machine but does add some plus sides - it’s much easier to use multiple samples for example. For sounds outside of drums, 101 wins hands down. Together you get the best of both worlds and a total number of tracks which can work for most ideas :) Check out my other videos - there are a few more recent ones with the TR6S acting more as a solo Groovebox.
