Heyo! Small tip, in both the anvil and the workbench you can click all the way on the left of the menu that pops up to swap between all the previous versions. For example, your iron workbench also includes the tin and wooden workbenches.

By the way, the shelves you have are 3-tiered. The top layer is a shelf as well so make sure to use it haha! I enjoyed watching your video though great job!

lets goooo AOEs that arent orange circlesssss you will get to do some big things in that tower soon enough! in fact youre required to before you can properly finish ARR lol also, this is just a recommendation, but i would roll for gear even if you dont need it thats at least lv 50 and up, you can trade unwanted gear to your grand company for seals and exchange those for tons of items like food, minions, mounts, etc etc ...granted you need to be a high enough level if squadron leader to get the best stuff but thats a whole other thing lmao great work as always!

Delightful! After seeing your first video the other day I was really hoping you would continue posting this game. I've been looking for good Corekeeper videos but haven't found any creators that really have that spark of excitement for exploration that you've shown in your videos. You've got a very fun personality for this game and I look forwards to seeing more of it! This game has a lot of cool quality of life features that aren't explicitly explained, so here are some tips and tricks that might help you out! (while avoiding any spoilers) -If you put your crafting benches/smelting stations/repair table next to a chest they'll pull directly from it(Including on the diagonal)! So having a dedicated chest for crafting materials surrounded by your most used bench/smelters can make the gameplay easier so you don't have to spend too much time worrying about inventory management(because inventory management can get a bit crazy later, and can really bog you down if you don't get a handle on it early) -You only need to keep your highest level workbench, since you can rotate through the recipes for any bench up to that level with the arrows on the side of the crafting menu. -Holding shift will automatically replace that hotbar slot with a torch if you have one in your inventory until you let go of shift, so you can hold shift and click to place one, even if you don't have one on your hotbar! -f you want to make your base area a bit safer you can hoe up the floor covers in the surrounding areas, since that's what makes enemies spawn. *If those little pickaxe/fire staff guys cause you trouble you might want to consider blocking off any Ruins biomes you see near your base(gray walls/floor) either by a thick wall or digging up the ground to create a gap. Usually their isn't an opening for them to reach super early level areas, but it seems you got unlucky with the world spawn gave them a path that leads right to your base! They can be a bit tough to deal with this early, and they like to break walls sometimes! -Definitely check out the livestock workbench. Trust me. -Instead of throwing out old tools, you can put them in the 6 gray squares of the salvage/repair bench and then click salvage to get some materials back! -Click the arrow next to your pet on your character equipment screen! -You should build some doors so your cattle don't run out of your base and into trouble!

Why was there random FFVIII music in the background? I LOVE FFVIII and its music, but Core Keeper's music is just gorgeous in itself. There is no reason to overlay TWO tracks of music; it is very distracting.

lolll that wipe takes me back...youre going to start running into more fights that require specific mechs like that and they just get more in depth as time goes on, so glad youre enjoying it! i personally like the added touches of more story...but part of that is definitely just looking forward to the "incident" coming up :3c youre still in ARR so things arent going to be picking up the pace quiiiite yet but youre getting close!

Got to say one thing, I like that Flying is available in ARR because it would be a pain in the ass nonetheless.

im late!! been hurricane preppin but hell ya im on top of this first i should say the mounts in this game arent like wow, ALL mounts can fly even if they shouldnt be able to. its quite delightful youll be running into different types of attacks in hard and extreme trials rn which are good to learn the mechs, but they are hard to queue for, ESPECIALLY EX trials, do not queue for those oh my god get a friend to take them out for u or solo them at level 70 or something lmaoo also ur affinity for "Give it all" is noticed and appreciated its a damn good song

And now that you’re done, some added context: The two dungeons and the trial at the very end being back to back to back was actually a change they made a while back because the ending of ARR used to be a 2 hour gauntlet of all three of those with EVEN MORE cutscenes than there currently are. They understand that it was unreasonably long (especially if it was meant to be done for roulettes) so they cut down a lot of it alongside a lot of ARR too to shorten it a bit. It’s still the longest part of the game with around 305 quests, but it’s better than 400 it used it be

Congratulations on beating the MSQ of A Realm Reborn. About Demolish giving a buff. If you refer to my last comment where I stated that your Demolish powers up Snap Punch, then yes it does you just don't see it as a buff like, say, your Stance buffs that you get everytime you do your combo. You can however see it in the little Job Gauge right next to your HP and MP. Whenever you use Dragon Kick while already being in the Opo-Opo Form for example the left Dot will light up showing you that your next bootshine will be stronger. When you use Twin Snakes the middle dot will glow up showing you that your next true strike now does more damage and when you use Demolish the two right dots will glow up showing you that your next two Snap Punches will do more damage. So if you are unsure you can always check that job gauge to see what skill you have to use. However do not fret over doing it perfectly, its a learning curve and no one will be mad if you are doing your best and learn how to play your class, especially later on when you start to unlock all the others. Also yes: Rear = Behind, Flank = Left or Right of the target. Don't bother with positionals when you fight Solo or when the Enemy has a full target circle like Hahabread (a.k.a Lahabrea) since those targets ignore your positionals anyways and yes that included flank ones as well. Also also, unless you know exactly what you are doing do prioritize do get out of the yellow bad bad, this will become not only very but super important the further you go in this game. And always remember: Dealing Damage is good but you can't deal damage when you are dead. - Sun Tzu, the Art of War (probably) Sorry for the text wall, I hope you will have a smooth journey. :)

congratulations!! 🎉 youre not Quite done yet, post ARR MSQ things get...pretty hectic (youll know what im talking about when you get there) but once youre past that you will be well on your way to heavensward! the last ARR MSQ dungeons go so smoothly because they are part of the daily duty roulette for boosted xp gains...so people have run them dozens if not hundreds of times lolll we really just book it through. and no those cutscenes never become skippable 🥲 youre about to be at the point where the story becomes actually pretty gripping and mostly stays that way from then on! hope youre excited!

Love this game. And you put alot into editing. However, in my view, the only way to play this game is + Hell, because it's easy enough + Permadeath, because gladiator revival is broken + No arena skips, because every skip lowers the difficulty forever and it does not make any sense + (Optional, 1 gladiator per type) Any other difficulties are too easy and this game shines when it's hard. I'm dying on Royal Arena, 7th one of 12, never conqured it. P.s. speaking of best units. Currently i like Metal Brute quite a bit.

i remember that fight at the end! that guy was like the first one to give me trouble in the msq back when i didnt understand what a rotation was lolll also, i think you can take the quest to dye clothes at this point? if i remember right. its a blue quest in the waking sands. so u can make ur pants pretty :) i wouldnt get ..too close to the voice acting and pronunciation in ARR it kind of has a reputation for being uhhh... not at its best lmao. almost the entire cast gets replaced come heavensward good work!

The very basic monk rotation looks like this when you actually have all your skills: Dragon Kick > Twin Snakes > Demolish > Bootshine > True Strike > Snap Punch > Dragon Kick > Twin Snakes > Snap Punch > Repeat from beginning Dragon Kick will empower your next Bootshine (and vice versa) making more damage, so will Twin Snakes with True Strike ( and vice versa) and Demolish will actually empower your next 2! Snap Punches (Snap punch however does not empower demolish). That is why you use Snap Punch twice before doing Demolish again. See it as a 3 part combo you just alternate between to always have your next attack be empowered. That is the very basic rotation you always do. You will always use it there will just be more added skills to use in between this when you get to higher levels. ^^

im not a monk player so someone else would have to explain the specifics, but i can say that generally yes you want to press the buttons with the dotted lines, they will do extra damage (or in a casters case negate cast time). monk has several rotations depending on stance so your combo will change a bit as time goes on flanking is done on either side--if you arent sure if your position is right, focus on the circle underneath the enemy. if the circle is open in the rear (lol) then stick to the sides for flank positionals. if the circle is full with no opening, you dont need to worry about positionals, so go ham! get used to dps queue times...theyre going to get longer as you move to less popular dungeons :') i ended up leveling a healer alongside bard when i went thru msq just to get the instant queues lol glad youre enjoying it!

As a monk (and as most other DPS) you have a series of skills that are meant for single targets, like bosses, and others that are meant for multiple targets (AOEs). Using the lighted-up ability is generally the best choice. As a monk, once you have completed your class quests, you should have 3 AOE abilities that can be used in sequence for damage to groups of trash mobs in dungeons and out in the world. If you read your tool tips, you will notice abilities chain together in combos. Some won't even be possible without doing the correct previous ability. The lighted one is usually the best choice. I try to arrange my abilities so the combos are next to each other for easy play. You also have an ultimate ability for when you have your 5 chakras open (all circles lit in your gauge) that is an AOE that can be used off of GCD (general cool down). These off-GCD abilities fit in between your other combos to increase your damage and usually have longer cool-downs. I am by no means and expert. These are just things I've picked up by playing. The simplest thing to do to figure out what is best on your own is to read your tool-tips. :)

You should be getting an envelop that's like vesper bay ticket you can use those to get to that quest area

Its so adorable to see new sprouts struggle through ARR. 😂 Let me give you a tidbit of information as well. If you see some enemy fight at a quest location seemingly against nobody it just means there are bots around, they are usually Lalafell with some wordsalad-like names. Just ignore them and move on with your quest. If you are not reading quest dialog at least check if you got some Item for the quest. That spotted puppy was a "elite" mob. You got a little potion to use on it so it would do less damage and have less HP. Its good that you have the EXP Buff and are eleven levels higher then you should be. If you got an Item for the quest to use on something/someone it will be displayed right next to the Quest name on your duty list. (The list of quests you follow under the minimap). true north negates positionals, so if you cant get to the rear or flank of an enemy for the bonus damage positional attacks give, you can pop true north to get that bonus damage regardless of where youre at :D also as long as youre not aggroed by something, you can jump from any height and survive with 1 HP. so jump off those stairs to ur hearts content lol great video! sorry if i just end up repeating stuff you already kno !

Also, the major general is a minion you can get as an achievement reward for going on a fishing boat in limsa lominsa and fishing up a certain amount of fish (the boat requires you to be level 5ish in the Fisher job, has a blue unlock quest to gain acess, and runs at regularly scheduled times). You can check achievements and accept their rewards through I think the "logs" menu? I keep a shortcut for it on a hotbar at the side of my screen so i don't really remember how to access it normally, lol In the meantime, I think you might have another very special little guy in your inventory already... 👀 (The big guy that you fetched a bunch of stuff for gave it to you as a quest reward)

keep an eye out for vesper bay tickets in your inventory! u get them throughout the msq as a quest reward and they will warp u straight to vesper bay for waking sands shenanigans :) glad ur enjoying the game!

Good job on finding your way in haukke manor (i know exactly what you meant when you said you had internet brainrot :P)! I got lost my first time even WITH other players to follow. Fun fact the little portal thing after the duo skeleton and imp bosses was added pretty recently and before then you had to use the return teleport to go back to the start of the dungeon and climb up the stairs. There were a few times I got this dungeon in roulettes while levelling when i still had return on cooldown bc I used it just before queueing in and had to run all the way back and my party had to wait for me bc I was tank 😭 so glad they changed that (also very confusing for new sprouts who didnt know about the return button and having to explain to them where it is)

First thing you learn in FF14: touch shiny. EVERY shiny - especially the blue crystals everywhere XD Also, go unlock ALL small Aetherites in every city. If you do that, you unluck all exits as well as the airport which dont have Aetherites themselves. Saves you a lot of running. Honestly, you should never feel bad watching cutscenes... On the other hand, NPC duty support exists, soooo... XD Anyway, (almost) nobody will flame you for watching cutscenes (you scipped an important one in Toto-Rak... kinda important at least...). Personally, I like doing the first run with NPCs simply to have time and leasure to take a look around. Plus, unless you queue up during prime time, as a dps role it can quite long until you find a group. Big red eye above the mobs head: turn around. It either petrifies or confuses you - in case of the later, you attack your party ^^
