I used to love league but changing how one of my favorite characters works and constantly nerfing everything made fun ruined constantly.

The obsession of ranking with huge ego kill a game in my opinion. Game should be for fun and not ranking. And if you want to say, stay in casu and don't play rank, well the problem is even in casu (unrank), you will be put with rank people and they will trashtalk about your rank if you are loosing your lane etc... I remember while playing top (i'm still and will be forever unrank btw) fighting a plat guy in a Renekton mirror match too and was winning (and win the game) but i was like wtf is this guy in my game? In conclusion putting rank in game will kill the game in my opinion bcs of people ego...

What I remember from the old league is that the characters were... goofy. Tryndamere says "my right arm is stronger than my left one" with a smug face, but then they had to make him beef with Aatrox and a serious king type of guy for some reason. Sion was the "who's yo daddy?" type of guy, they had to make him the guy who killed Jarvan III and some important figure in Noxus history. It's just that this game was so goofy, it was fun with everything it had. Now it's too serious and no fun. Edit: I have to add, the toxicity of the streamers definitely affects the normal players. Every single game I had in EUW was like someone losing his cool and others being "chill tf out dude, come on, just focus on the game" and everything going back to normal. Nowadays you say something and the answer you get is "shut up dog your elo sucks" (he's been in the same elo he's insulting for the past 10 years and could never climb) and everyone else insulting each other. The new league definitely sucks.

I have literally 30 days of league, and once I reached lvl 30 I was able to get into ranked. Played a few matches with friends and was placed in gold 2 without a single clue of what I was doing. Comments like "u should kill yourself" were pretty common...
