Im glad you didn't show your password because I was going yo spend thousands of dollars to pat someone to find out where you live and then spend even more money to fly there and get an expensive hotel room so I can go to your house while you are sleeping and somehow break in without waking you up and then turn on your computer and run Vysor.

Hi there, I have a T199 that I've installed zello on, but I can't uninstall the PTT+ app. It keeps talking over the zello audio saying that "the account has been paused".. Does anyone know how to remove this, or if there's a firmware without the PTT+ installed?

I can't say that I would recommend the T522A for any uses other than personal/recreational. Just my honest opinion.

Thank you for sharing this video. Need your expertise on the t199. When I connect it to my laptop, vysor tells me that memory/storage is full and I need to clear cache. The problem is, I do not have any idea on how to do that without seeing the android screen or gaining access. This happens when vysor tries to install apk on first use.

I liked what you did with that little accessory micro usb, good thinking. As far as the Inrico radios, how is the loud speaker sound quality? I'm asking because I bought the Radio Tone RT4 from Network Radios and the volume is loud but the sound is very muffled and in my opinion, terrible, especially for the price. Zello voice transmissions sound ok, but ringtones and notification sounds are awful. I actually had to install an EQ app to help, but it does very little.

I have install in virtual machine and open port. But still cannot hear voice. Between 2 devices use ptt. It seems that VM need integrated audio services. CMIIW

Hey mate nice video, i've just set up my T199 devices running Zello but i am having problem with PTT button, i set side button for it from Zello app but when i restart my device it does not work, i need to connect it to my PC and run Zello in order to get it working, do you have any idea how can i make Zello open automatically after turning on the device ? so that i can use ptt button. (When devices is on it receives voices but PTT does not work if i do not open Zello from PC)

I've had the best luck installing the Zello software, going into settings and hardware mapping and making sure I manually map the PTT key. Then go into the startup settings in the Zello app to make sure it runs on start and doesn't exit. In the android settings > power settings I disable battery optimization for the Zello app to keep it running. there are a lot of different android apps (apks) you can find that will also keep the radio awake and not allow it to sleep which seems to help keep the app running. Most of the time though I'm using the ZelloWork app/service since my first responder teams get a discounted version which has built-in support for the network radios and allow me to setup options that keep the user from closing the app, etc. Zello free app on network radios is mostly community supported. Here is the most support Zello offers. support.zello.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009735831-Configuring-Zello-on-an-Inrico-T199-or-TYT-W700-network-radio I hope that helps a bit, I haven't used the T199 for awhile since it's only 3G/Wifi.

Tip ..... If you get a Google Play Store error (504) when trying to install Apps... Open the Phone Dial App .... enter *#*#275#*#* and uncheck the box “Not Allow APK Install” .... Wait 5 minutes ... Reboot Device - Error should be gone then ... (From Gulf Connect FB Page) Worked 100% for me 👍

Just to point out you need a data USB cable. The normal cables you use for recharging do not work.

How to do inrico t199 using zello channel up / down?

With Zello, the free version doesn't support network radios so no guarantee it works long term. That said... in Zello your Channel names have to start with two digit numbers that match your channel knob on the radio. "01 - Chat 1", "02 - Chat 2", etc. Do not user quotes "" in the name, I did just to show you the full channel name. Also note that on Zello you do need to setup your first channel as default using the 'star' icon in the Zello app. After you rename the Zello channels and log out/log back into the Zello app on the T199 the knob should work. Keep in mind because of the nature of Zello free things could change and you might have to go back into the radio to change settings or it could stop working.

We do offer to program radios purchased by us for $50/each. The PTT Service needs to already be setup and working (Zello, WalkieFleet,ATT, etc.) we would need the login information so we can add that to the device.

Thank you for this. I see that there's an option to turn on bluetooth. Does bluetooth tethering with with the T199? Looking to use the device with my phone's data plan.

I have not tried bluetooth tethering. I have tried wifi tethering with my iphone and the T199 and it works. The only gotcha to keep in mind is that you may have times if wifi it's available at boot that it takes a while to rescan and connect automatically to your hotspot. I've found that as long as the hotspot is one and available before the radios power on it's not typically a problem. Since the T199 doesn't have a screen it does make it challenging to troubleshoot wi-fi issues without a computer handy. You can also use a program called button mapper for android (Install it from an APK) to map one of the keys on the side to toggle Wi-Fi on/off.
