Knowing the mutual dislike between Alan and Fletch, I gotta wonder what was said as they hugged when Alan was walking off....maybe: Fletch: "Now get off the bloody stage you wanker" AW: "Piss off and go back to clapping you no talent hack"🤣 In all seriousness though, I will never get tired of watching this beautiful moment that may never happen again.

Against the backdrop of what Dave and Martin have said in 2023 about a possibility of Alan's reunion with DM after Flatcher's passing, I'm very curious about WHY did they invite Alan to this performance? WHY did Alan agree? And WHY didn't anything like that happen anymore?

It’s only my opinion: If Alan wanted us to forget him and wanted to quit rumours about his comeback as a musician completely, he would make some official statement through his profiles on social networks (as he did it years before about his leaving the band). So we still have a possibility of hope and dream that he will make some music with DM one day. We all know that Dave and Martin want us to stop believing and speaking about Alan, we know they don’t understand it because nobody says “please bring Vince to the DM” and they think these situations are the same: past is past. But Alan and his influence are unforgettable. The one thing that they don’t understand is that DM cult was made with Alan and thanks to him. Alan is not only a part of DM, he IS DM and will always be. Vince is not (he is amazing and he made DM as a band but nothing else). I don’t blame D+M, I understand them. But Alan’s decision to leave was forced and DM’s sound is orphaned without him. That’s why we cannot stop talking about Alan’s comeback. We all have a right to dream.

Seen DM for the first time in Manchester recently and it was just amazing I have to say, but the biggest hits they played in the gig, Alan was in the band then, so that says a lot about DM today, still great, but with Alan on board too, they would be just unstoppable 👍
