Thank you for clarifying the use of the red toggle on the back. The manual just saying “input” isn’t super helpful. Is if the input power of the item in front or the wall input power in back. You made it much clearer.

Thanks for the video! I replaced the caps and resoldered the transistors and everything that seems suspicious. The flickering and brightness issues solved. But one problem remained. Sometimes there is no display at all and I have to knock or hit the chassis near the display to work again. What do you think?

Thank you so much for this video! I had the same problem with leaking as you showed and thanks to your guide I could easily take my machine apart. The break in the hose looked exactly like yours. Unfortunately I didn't have a spare but I measured and ordered some 3mm inner, 6mm outer diameter heat resistant silicon hose which I think should fit. Will update once I've installed. For those asking, T20 was what I used on the rear side screws.

Hello! My machine has almost empty tank , i hear that the pump is trying to get water but it doesn t actually show the add water light , and when i fill the tank again and press the decalcify button , it starts again the process. I ve repeated the process again and again and again ,but water only pops from steam. Any thoughts about this? Thank you!

Great video, very helpful. Just one thing: you do not need to remove the pinch holder. The pinch roller can easily be removed with a screw driver by inserting the screw driver from the pinch roller (right hand side) and press to the bottom. This works like a lever. Then you just have to press the new pinch roller with its pin carefully into the little slots with your finger. The pin must snap securely into the slots. If the belts are ok and only the pinch roller has to be replaced you can do it without opening the tape deck.

If you don`t remove the pinch roller and remove it, and do as you say, then you risk breaking the plastic mount for the pinch roller holder. Its just press fit plastic into a metal plate, and I`ve seen many of these snap by pinch rollers being removed by just prising them out with a screwdriver wedged in behind the roller into the holder whilst still fitted in a deck. You WILL have one break on you doing it that way its just a matter of time for sake of saving a few minutes from removing the mech from the front panel. And you should always change the belts at the same time, even if they look ok.....

Silicone heat resistant tubing. You just measure the diameter of the pipe you have in total, then the thickness of the outer wall to order it

nope its used in may decks, as with anything of this age works well if looked after. woest case a split mode drive cog and new belts needed.
