I absolutely HATE my Kobalt weed trimmer!!! Restringing it is horrible! I’ll NEVER buy Any products made by that company!!!

I will try this if I happen upon a plant with a single stalk. I am currently training mine into a wreath. It is very healthy.

I have that same mower and mine came with a rear discharge chute that makes it discharges to the side.

I'm 66 with arthritis and I hate this Kobalt! Just before breaking it over a tree to release frustration I found your video! I had to have help taking the cover off, ridiculously hard but am using it again.

Soak the string in water. Rehydrates the line so it doesn’t break as quickly

To hold the door open just lay an old broom handle across the handlebar and let door lay on it. I just replaced all the pulleys and belt it wasn’t too hard but time consuming

Well mine is 40V cordless and it’s different. The instructions shows only 1 string goes from one site and coming out from another. But instruction still confusing

You should always wash off your mower top and under carriage after every use. Yours looks like you never washed it.

You should have saved the admission fees and used them to buy a science text book. It would have been money better spent.

Between that piece of wood and all that grass clipping and dirt building up, looks like to me that's was poorly designed. Thats going to a problem for the life of the machine.

Found this when looking for help re-stringing my Greenworks. Everywhere else said cut the string in half but this makes so much more sense and works well.

Rocks in the bottom of your pot raises the water table so that the moisture ends up higher than if you hadn't done anything- in other words it has the *opposite effect that you intended*.

So the word standard has been interchanged with the word bonsai... hmm, wacky. Have never heard of such before.
@PartanBree Жыл бұрын
"standard" just means "standing up straight" and "bonsai" means "tree in a pot" - both words seem to fit this.

For the most part this is a great video to learn from. The only thing I would comment on is the hay. Your hay shouldn't be brown like straw, that means the nutrients is dried up. Green hay is what you want, still dried, but still green. I do really enjoy your setup though.

My AWD Husqvarna mower has a plastic plate that blocks the rear flap opening so the mower will mulch if not blowing into the bag. This came with the mower.

Just purchased a new one on close out . Not mfg. any more . My mower got plugged up around Pulleys with in a hour , making a shield to cover the pulleys . Like the AWD , ordered new belt and a spare . Dealers do not stock the belt .

When filming any video when you work on your lawnmower, always disconnect the plug wire.

I bought for my single daughter to use instead of a gas trimmer and love the battery but Lowes/Kobalt should fire the engineer who created this design. Why not just use the simple cord singles and just slide in the head when you need to replace. I live a thousand miles away and when I come into visit I have to fix this piece of garbage.

Sometimes I swear people find the dumbest way to do things. Thank you for the video. I bought mine used and there was no way I was going to figure this out on my own and judging from the comments, I wasn't going to with the manual either.

Do these lawnmowers have a start switch? I keep reading about a start switch but I can't find one. This lawnmower is only 1year old and will not start. It says, just hold the handle and pull the cord...Nothing
@MicroFarmStarter4 жыл бұрын
Mine has two handles. One to hold down in order for it to run. This is also required to be held when starting. The second handle is for self propulsion. As long as it has fuel, and oil. You should be able to start it by holding the top handle squeezed. Then with your other hand to pull the cord swiftly. I hope this works for you.

Great instructions. Easy to follow. Use some WD40 to help get that first off. I would also use some compressed air to blow out any debris . It will work better.

Every scientist, and every medical doctor speaks from experience. In order to say someone's experience is invalid, requires a sufficient amount of evidence to the contrary. Be careful! In the process of doing that, you'll be speaking from experience.

Very helpful. The trick no other video talks about is, just as you pointed out, taking the length of string in the middle and winding both "halves" around the upper and lower sections of the spool in the same direction, the direction of the arrows. Thanks again.
